Stephen came to Sydney, Australia several years ago and I was surprised and delighted to hear he made a joke about the suburb of Sydney I was born in - Parramatta. "Where do lost socks go"? Answer: "They turn into Parra Matter".

the story about the German soldiers getting mastectomies is true, it is caused by repeated firing of a large shoulder fired weapon that causes the swelling of one breast. Hence the need for the surgeries in men.

There is a slang word, "minger" (pronounced with a hard g, as in grab) which can either mean an ugly, or in some areas slutty, woman. So when someone shouts out "mingers" the way Ross pronounces it, it would be pretty insulting.

I can only imagine how hideous the stuff from Kendall must be. (and Kendall Mint Cake is tha bomb. York peppermint patties? Please).

No offense taken. I would assume that nobody would hand out fatal poisons on TV, but I still expected some form of common sense or even just plain caution might have prevailed. Still I think both Ross Noble and Johnny Vegas regretted their decisions.@@markloveless1001

@@LPKelly380 Thank you! I don't get the confusion myself....and I'm an American southerner (although that last part may help, there are clear linguistic similarities to the north country accents.)
