Firfire needs a revamp overall but there is ONE cool thing you can find, namely this sick closing spikes trap/puzzle that leads to a path that lets you skip chaser and go right to new Kyrsa

The deepwoken devs are really good for this, they listen to content creators and players. I once saw a video with like 10 different suggestions and then the next update all 10 of them got added.

Hey Eclipse, just a tip, when Chaser is on his final stage and dealing constant damage outside that circle, one of those spikes on the floor gives you immunity to it if you stand on top of it, it's the closest one to the circle, in the direction of the door. Nice videos, keep up the Deepwoken content!

For the Irithine, if you're already in Layer 1, go near the Frontier Furnace and you'll find about 2 so server hop when you find one

Well you said that u might drop the lantern and boots in the overworld if you died and on the update they maked those 2 items soulbound AND they even fixed the skulls, u can recover 1 skull by doing a boss, holy you really help with que quality of life features, W video

For every layer they should definitely add accessories that help with the environmental hazards but you can only get them within their respective layer.

8:24 you can manually enchant the boots with medallions via klaris, and they just made the wormwarder lantern not drop on death anymore

The safest way to get any ore in the game is to just farm mineskippers in the eastern luminant, they have a decent chance to drop any ore in the game.

the devs are pretty good about putting stuff that people want in the game theres so many changes that ive been saying i want and i didnt even recommend them i just tell my guild members and its like the devs read my mind almost everything ive said they have added example alot of the guild room changes like having training gear and food also hot key changes just quality of life things

Hey Eclipse, small update today, wormwarder lantern is now soul bound, I don't know anything about the boots, anyways, chime skull now regen on solo boss kills, band-aid fix but at least you skip the depths if you run out of skulls.

Yo eclipse so the devs sorta listens and made the lantern not drop upon death, the boots still do tho. But regardless thanks for making the game better. It’s good that some kind of dev team listens to you unlike a certain other bizarre game dev.

There’s 2 medallions which work as equipment and relics, while they don’t get soulbound you can’t drop them on death or drop them yourself, these being lightkeeper’s medallion and war master medallion, I’ll probably go figure it out myself in a second but I just wanted to let you know about them Incase they also count as such Small edit: if they haven’t done that, they should

By the way the devs already put THIS video’s suggestions into the update today, just like a few hours after yours dropped. They made wormwood lanterns undroppable at death, and made chime skulls earnable by soloing bosses as a kind of temporary fix to the system. Supposedly theres a new layer 2 area as well containing a legendary item, that people are tryna find right now… Safe to say the devs are definitely listening lol

If you wanna soulbound these thingies, just enchant it, if it's soulbound you have to craft it every time and pay 1 or 2 knowledge every time you bank it

The firfire caverns are actually quite well made IF the devs did not make the bounders nest, and you were required to to get to the castle via the teleporter (what is now considered the floor two skip) to the castle hidden inside the cave. If this was the only method, or atleast the easier method, the cavern's maze-like qualitys wouldve far more fair in my personal opinion.

the dropping problem just enchant them if u can idk if they are unenchantable well the boots u cant enchant the lantern because its accessory

When it comes to chime skulls, I, personally, would prefer 2 different gamemodes for chime, one being unranked where any player no matter what elo they are can queue with eachother and ranked gamemode where there will be like 5 skulls instead of 3 and winning once would restore like 3 skulls, so the chime(ranked) will still be a competitive place where its gonna be hard to find newer players, because they will play the unranked version and will queued against a huge variety of builds to counter them in a future.

Me and my friends have one rule in deepwoken and that is to never ever have a spark gland in your inventory as i’ve seen multiple random deepbounds wipe with only one thing in their lootbag: Spark gland.

Having a different chime mode without skulls that does not affect your ELO is a good idea.

watching how eclipse has generally learned how to play deepwoken whether it be solo or with his friends off camera is generally entertaining. i mostly just try pvp in the game if i ever play but the game's balancing is in a very bad state so its refreshing to not see sweat lord pvp content

tip to soulbound equipment : just enchant the equipment with Klaris.

The wind is and all ways will work the way its intended but people don't understand how the wind works you never actually had to look at the wind the farther you are from the source of the wind the higher the chances are for you to be blown off just because you are looking / resisting the wind doesn't mean you are actually doing so. If people don't understand this I don't blame you even my friends don't understand this if u want me to explain it better i can message you on discord to help you out

It seems they only listen to high value players, just tell them to keep talents on the items you get when you pay to combine appearance items in the Guild base

In my opinion instead of chime skulls being a punishing mechanic it should be rewarding one currently in chime you not only get terrible loot but also have to go through escaping the dephts every time you lose all your skulls, chime skulls instead could indicate the quality of the loot you get from chime as in if you lost all your skulls you will be getting terrible loot/ no loot and every additional skull you have would make the loot tables bigger and include rarer stuff so if you just want to learn pvp you won't be punished while skilled players can also use chime as a way to grind for rare items if they can keep winning without losing said skulls.
