Don’t forget Bonzo did NOT play with a double bass pedal. His right foot was just a beast. It had a mind of its own

Apparently Jimi Hendrix saw Zeppelin perform in , like, 1969 , and told Bonzo "Boy, you got a right foot like a country jackrabbit!" Love it!

He did on occasion use two bass drums (with two pedals of course). He didn't need to, though. He could play everything on one.

If you are going to have a song to introduce yourself to the entire world, this is the one to choose if you are Led Zeppelin. This was their very first song on their very first album, and they didn't just knock the door down and walked through. They blew that door to smithereens, and put themselves above and beyond the rest of the music world from that point on.

You love Bonzo. Let me put you on to Four Sticks. Like the title says, the man used 4 sticks at once to play this track. One of their most difficult to record and barely played live.

Funny story about that. He heard Carmine Apice play those triplets, so he imitated that sound. Catch was Apice had a double pedal. Bonzo figured how to do it with a single pedal. As told by Carmine Apice lol.

Imagine how many speakers 🔊around the World 🌎 lost their innocence in 1968 when this song was kicked into one's consciousness like a Tank thru the front door with Bonham's arrival, delivering a heretofore unheard of type of bombastic orchestration masterfully weaved together by Jimmy Page's magic fingers and topped off with a singer who could soar like an angel, knock out a comet and catch it by the tail! Has there ever been a more dramatic opening act than the 1st track of the 1st album of this Band that was destined to achieve by all measures the pinnacle of success. Their music and legacy belong to the Ages. Today, some 50 years later....The Song Remains the Same! Centuries may pass, but they never will. They are the timeless for all time! 🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦

The best way to be introduced to Zep is to listen to the first album in total. You don’t have to react to it.Do it on your own time. But by doing this you will get to understand the band and Jimmy Pages visón of the band. The adversity and creativity of the first record will blow your mind. It’s great to see younger people experiencing the masterful musicianship of Zeppelin. In a way I envy you and everyone that gets to hear their music for the first time.

My dad talks about when Bonham passed n he's never been the cheerleader type or anything, pretty old school in that aspect. But man the way he talks about led zeppelin n then how it was when Bonham died its like I can tell it actually affected him. My dad doesn't have favorites he doesn't do fantasy football or high 5s..lol.... the only time he'll get worked up n talk about outside things is when there's something about Mike tyson or led zeppelin on 😂😂😂

Man what I love is when I hear my dad listening to KZfaq n some song that I never hear will b playing n I'll b either like damn that's good who is that or damn how have I not heard that one by them. Lol. I remember in like 2007 maybe he was playing a song it ended up being Neil Young...a song that's way too long for radio ......I'm sure you'll know it. Neways it was Cortez the killer.....n man that song is so fucking good. N if it weren't for being around someone who had grown up in that time I probably would have never heard it. I could go on for days. I always liked how ...n I didn't understand this till I was older but I like how both my parents liked the more culty artists or artists that weren't so mainstream. The respect for a creator is gone just as well as the drive to become on is too. There seems to b no individuality anymore. It's all copy n paste.
