Bragg's "BOO" is a monster! 6X6 Prime Mover! The flat deck is narrow, do they take off the outside duals for transport? Really wide stance! You see this one coming!!! A Real "North Star"⭐! 🟨⬛👍👍👍

The simple answer is no, the duals stay on for transport. I actually have videos coming soon that will show just exactly that...stay tuned. 🤠🤙

Favors an Army 10-ton setup. They had some SERIOUS gears. We had an RD and a DM 800 hauling rock with what looked like 10-ton Mack rears. The RD had a 12-speed. No Allison. They got a set surplus and asked me what they were. 10-ton rears was the only answer. No planitaries though. The stockpile truck, a DM 700 has a set or did have when I was there. Not lost a single thing to have to go back for. REST, photog Buddy!

Sounds like some serious hauling hardware in action there. But moving rock demands just that. Thanks, Lewie... one day off tomorrow and we are in the heat fo sho now! 113° and counting. Send rain. 🤠👍

@@espeescotty 113? MERCY! I'd have to live in a freezer somewhere. You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din. Them days are over for this old boy. REST on the day off. You got my rain vote but it don't go far. I'm registered unnafilliated. The 10 tons had a winch setup, one on each side (Garr/Wood brand I think) PTO and air clutches, a straight drive non-hydraulic (inch cable) so they could pull from both sides to load tanks on the draggin waggin trailers that had elevated pull points on the trailers themselves to pull through/from. Wicked looking things. If they'd just had a motor and tranny. A 903 Cu,mmins that nerer ran the same twice and a lone 5-speed but the thansfer case had a low but not a splitter. A 8V-92 and a good 10 or 15 speed Roadranger BUT you'd had to have REAL drivers for them. A 5 was enough. Happy day, Palley.
