Two great pianists performing at the Poets Corner Cafe in Sturminster Newton. This was the 'multi-purpose' venue, in that if it was raining the piano could be taken indoors.
Eeco Rijken Rapp plays the first piece while I roam around 'setting the scene' before Dona Oxford {USA} hits the piano with an up-tempo song that I think is called : "Jump Jive".

This woman playing is a genius. Fantastic. Extremely under rated and appreciated by many since its an old style music, but hands down it still swings with the best IMO.

Gracious. Can anyone tell me please: HOW DO THEY DO IT? It's a gift from God, obviously...but truly, it's been a fantasy for me to be able to even ATTEMPT to play the piano--ANY style--and, the boogie woogie just gets you moving, and grooving. Amen?!

Michael Ash and Fay Kelley : You need to understand this is a Festival "FRINGE" Event, designed to be very informal and where people/friends can quite rightly and appropriately hold conversations whilst enjoying some music. There are many proper Concerts and Events where the talents of the Pianists/Musicians can be fully enjoyed and appreciated ... during which, people would generally *NOT* be talking.
