Boogie still does not know how to properly do a blood pressure reading. First, the cuff is supposed to be placed on the upper arm, not the lower arm, and line the arrow on the cuff with the artery in the elbow. Second, he needs to shut up during the reading. In healthcare settings, if the patient talks during the reading, the nurse will invalidate it and do it over. No wonder every time he does a BP reading live, it's a ridiculously high number or the reader produces an error. If he actually did the reading properly, I guarantee the reading will be much lower. Boogie does everything possible to sabotage himself so he can "prove" to people he can't work out, mow the lawn, get a job, etc. It's beyond infuriating.

After listening to this video I wanna put in my two cents about losing weight. At my heaviest I was around 360. I couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs without losing my breath. Started with walking 10 minutes a day and adding 5 minutes after a bit. I ate less and wrote down what I ate. I lost over 20 pounds in the first couple of months. I kept it up and started lifting weights. I had days where I didn’t want to do it anymore and wanted to give up. Came close a few times. I kept at it and now I’m down to 320. It takes time and effort. I genuinely don’t think Boogie can do it. He’s got an excuse for everything. It’s just sad now.

Went from 300 to 215 much the same way. Be proud man! And be aware of the old eating habits showing back up when u start to look thinner! I bounced back to 270 in like 3 months and I’m working my way down again. I’m cheering for you!

Boogie is an emotional vampire. I had someone in my life who was exactly like that. Blamed everything on his mental health and would constantly threaten suicide as a way to manipulate and emotionally abuse. Years of that and I got to the point where I was drained and exhausted from it all that I got to the point where I just couldn't care anymore. Some people are just a lost cause and I have zero sympathy or empathy for a 50 something year old adult still acting like an angsty adolescent. He'll never change.

I have daily chronic pains, and there’s going to be some sort of level of pains I’ll have probably for life. The mornings typically are the absolute worst so first getting going there’s days I have to really pep talk myself to just do it. My bad days I’ll give myself 5 more mins, but after what I call warning up my bones, I feel a bit better. At some point though you just have to do it. There’s no magic words or pill, but just to do it despite your body and mind saying you can’t.

Boogie Historian Here: Something we forget is that Boogie actually took an unnamed weight loss drug before his weight loss surgery. This was before the era of these new drugs, but it is possible he was prescribed some type of similar drug at that time. He described it as a drug that helped suppress hunger. IT DIDN"T WORK.

So that's partially true. I'm on SSDI. After two years of being on it, you automatically get Medicare. However, you may have a monthly deductible, but they just take it out of your SSDI. Now, with that being said, I literally owe The Ohio State University Medical Center over $6k, and they still see me for appointments, and I have an appointment with a hand specialist in June. He could ABSOLUTELY see a doctor.

This is all for attention, my sister has worked in the medical field for 30 years and said there's no way they would turn you away from any medical issue. The pressure monitor he showed is from CVS and those are never accurate. It's easy to to curb your food addiction, I was over 400 pounds and horrible health, I took steps to curb my appetite and have lost over 75 pounds since the 1st of the year, it's not hard..walk 30 minute, cut out the junk and sweets. I worrie about my heart 24/7, it's not hard to take theses steps boggie...your life is in own hands.

my mother was dying of congestive heart failure after a c-section for my little sister. they told her she wouldn't live to see the end of the month. she was dying IN A HOSPITAL BED not at home walking around and talking about her blood pressure. the doctors were encouraging her to say goodbye to her family (she ended up surviving but the doctors were genuinely convinced she was dying) boogie isn't dying of heart failure the doctors told him he's AT RISK of heart failure and hes taken that and ran with it

I'd go to his house everyday to see what Boogie was up to. When Boogie finally decided to get fit. My friend lost weight saying "If Boogie can do it I can too!" type of deal. For those that dont know, Boogie2988 does these kind of episodic "stories" about the character version of his life... I know it sounds weird, he learned it from McJugernuggets and KidBehindTheCamera. Basically, he pretends that his entire life is falling to apart, or that someone is coming to hurt him. Sometimes he even plays the villain himself, like he did with Jesse. Odds are that is what's going on right now.

i wonder if the “blood draining” thing boogie says he’s supposed to get done is just straight lab work. people with chronic or terminal illnesses sometimes have to get labs done like every week.

@@mollymyers4173 Boogie didn't mention it at all when he was telling Desi about his list of ailments. I also think if was having this done regularly he would have a PICC line. He has said he was anaemic - which is a contradiction. He's also said he has seborrheic eczema - but we've seen most of his body (🤢🤢) & there's no evidence of that. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤

my moms insurance really sucks and its 125 for a normal check up and 300 for a specialist, so i mean it could be hundreds of dollars if he has shitty insurance but he can make like a couple videos and itll be paid for easy. or sell some of his collectable shit he has

Bro, everytime I hear about Boogie, it just bumbs me out so hard, I remember watching him as a little kid, following through his recovery to better health and being so happy for him only for everything to crash and burn, its so fucking crazy.

I think food addiction is unfairly put down as a sort of “lesser addiction” but boogie treats it as if he’s addicted to heroine. Boogie wont have withdrawals because he hasn’t had an extra chick fil a sandwich, his roomate should 100% be stern about it because its an addiction you can take a stern approach towards when it comes to the addicts.

@kaydenjones3183 thank you. I'm in recovery for opioid addiction and I'd rather eat healthy than go through wd any day of the week. And I'm overweight, I get it, it's hard, but eating shitty isn't an eating disorder or an addiction, it's just a bad habit. You CAN have a food addiction but I don't think that's what's going on with Boogie.
