I have seen how they go into power saving mode without looking like they are sleeping and it freaks me out a bit... Thank goodness the newer ones don't do anything like that. I have one of the newer ones for a cosplay prop and that one can be set into a sleep like saving mode.

I'm so glad I never watched Boobah as a kid. It's so cool to see the gears and circuits inside toys like this. You should definitely go more in detail with the circuits and stuff. Usually all the soundbytes and movements are all in one big epoxy blob. You can tell because it's just a huge black blob covering the whole circuit board. Very cool stuff, fellow brony!
