First let me thank you once more for this nice series of book app ,I have some suggestions to make ,I want to classify the pdf such that inside the category I should be having the level(year of study i.e year 1,year 2,year 3 and year 4) and inside the year, I should be having modules i.e module 1 and 2 , so the user profile should be identified by category > year of study > module ,the pdf that should be visible to the user is only that he/is identified by . I think I have communicated something here 😃

@@FreelancerRimi-ck4ni Goto firebase console and realtime db The users data is saved in "Users" Each user contains a key named "userType" When we create account the value of "userType" is "user" so if you want to make some user admin change that value manually in firebase realtime db After changing that value you will be redirected to admin screen when login using that account

Hello , I am creating an app which has two fragments , home and profile . Profile fragments shows the user data retrieved from database. When i open profile fragment for the first time , it is taking time to load the user data and when i switch to home fragment and again back to profile fragment , it is loading the user details again . Can anyone please tell me how to load the data first time then save it and restore it from next time using kotlin.

What if you do same project in firestore . Is firebase is better then firestore?

firestore is new and recommended ended by firebase so i think better to use firestore
