I SWEAR the inside of those boxes are usual plain black, I SWEAR IT!!! My husband always watches with me before I upload (because…insecure) and he played KEEP AWAY with the mouse so he could keep rewinding and rewatching that part. Yes. So funny. Utterly hysterical (Okay, it totally was…in retrospect.) He also added that scary Ariel and said you’re the only one cool enough who might get the band it was referencing. But he doesn’t listen to music with melodies, just screaming (did I mention total opposites attract thing?) so…not sure if I want you to or not? Also, he’s just really REALLY sick of Taylor Swift. And it IS, thank you!! I have NEVER had a TBR jar…guess I have to use it now?? It was SO expensive and the VERY next day in a true comedy of errors Peanut Butter (the Yorkie) knocked it off the end table (she uses it as a bridge between couches, now she’s not allowed to but YOU try and stop the stubborn little bolt of lightning) and Sophie leapt on top of it and ruined the cover because she missed the leap between sofas herself. Sighhhhh…at least I have video footage of it while it’s all pretty…Kid also stole my new markers. I’ve learned and hidden the fancy stickers. 😖

Okay, so in this case…I THINK you might be perfect just for the Twilight box, which always has Romantasy-it’s where I got Bring Me Your Midnight! And while the shipping is astronomical now, they JUST announced TODAY that they are going to be opening a warehouse/shipping station in TEXAS, so it’s going to MUCH more reasonable to try just one box VERY soon! Their romances are mostly just straight romance…very smutty, and they usually tend to go quite dark-one box IS for dark romance only. And I’ve only read one because this is only the third box I just opened and it…read a lot like what I’ve read when I’ve I wanted a dark romance on KU, not gonna lie. Ouch. But new boxes often have trouble getting big books, so…we’ll see? (Or SEA when I get into these books…I know, I know, I’m so sorry, I couldn’t resist!) And you’re so welcome for the labels, I thought it was such a great idea that I’ve kept it up ever since you suggested it! And I filmed this IMMEDIATELY when I got my Fairyloot, so believe me, I’m not that far behind you (a yeah, that math for Coconut Creek…SO wrong…by like ten days). Hi and welcome to channel! Also, WOW, all the way in France…not gonna lie, feeling a little special here…I’m glad I can share my book joy with others (apparently ALL around the world)! Thank you so much for the sweet compliment too 💕 And as for the name…in my themed videos when I do reviews I always try to match an outfit to a book cover in every video (admittedly with varied success; you’ll see a photo inserted from a mini-shoot with each matched book), and I always dress up in seasonal or themed outfits when I can for each video. I love fashion but, alas, have no sewing skills so the most I’ve done is repair/alter vintage jewelry, add some lace or change out buttons to add my touch an outfit; I just wanted to find a way to incorporate fashion in my channel in some small way, especially since I knew I would be dressed up for every video anyway because I’m most comfortable in dresses! For anyone who knows the real translation of “couture”…it’s a terrible play on haute couture, I know, but everything from Literature and Lace to Petticoats and Pages was already taken on Instagram when I started, and I wanted to be polite about it.

And I think it’s so funny you finally caught me with the inaccurate translation of channel title, I was wondering if it would ever happen…but in the states I can DEFINITELY get away with it, and especially on Booktube! I hope you’ll like the fun outfits, especially when the matching ones show up-the first cover matching one coming up for you next isn’t very “fashionable” but it should be good for a laugh since I’ll be filming it in the dead of winter (and very possibly in the middle of a snowstorm)!

The emotional whiplash, I was just so shocked like…what are the ODDS I would narrate it like that?? I genuinely felt guilty for a minute, never mind that it was written at least a year ago…sigh! And I swear by MAC lipstick and I’m almost always wearing Twig or sometimes Velvet Teddy, but I also wear the fairest shade of EVERY foundation so they look darker on me than…normal people. I vary it up by wearing it on top of Maybelline lip crayons in every neutral-ish shade I can find (cheap so I can get them all, hydrate your lips and color your whole lip after lining and then layer lipstick on top) so it always looks a little different, and then a gloss- I’m forever changing the gloss, sometimes high-end, sometimes not, but Milani Keep It Full (don’t get the maxxxx one or whatever it, it makes your lips burn!) is inexpensive and all 5 colors on Ulta I SWEAR work on everyone and with everything, even when I’m playing with more dramatic lip looks. (Why yes, I AM a makeup girlie…)

And you're so welcome, I loooove makeup and started watching KZfaq just for the makeup channels years ago before I found Booktube (probably not a shock to hear that), so I'm ALWAYS happy to be your personal fairy glam-mother. And similar skin tones...so you buy the palest foundation and hope for the best too, huh? Fun, isn't it? And that is possibly the most flattering thing anyone has ever said to me...but ohmyGOSH I cannot imagine, the makeup space on here seems SO intimidating!
