Awesome haul, Mike! I think you’ll enjoy Vaughn Roycroft’s Sundered Nation Trilogy, which is historical fantasy based on the clashes between the Goths and the Romans. Janny Wurts is indeed incredibly kind, and her vast masterpiece The Wars of Light and Shadow is, in my opinion so far, one of the most amazing achievements in fantasy. Happy reading!

Shadow of the apt is one of the more creative and interesting fantasy series because of all of the different aspects, factions, races. The struggle between magic and technology. It really is cool The first 4 books of the 10 book series is one complete story arch essentially so think of it as a 4 book series, then if you like it continue from there. I think im on book 7?

Dungeon Crawler Carl is popular because the audiobook narrator does a Patrick Warburton impression throughout, and Patrick Warburton is hilarious. It's the kind of thing where Warburton would probably sue, if it got mainstream success. It's that close.

Dungeon Crawler Carl is nothing like Cradle. The leveling and power up aspects really doesn’t matter so much and isn’t really important. The story focuses more on the characters, humor, world building and all the craziness that occurs throughout. Definitely Not a grind like a lot of litrpgs tend to be. It's a billion times better than Cradle and while it does fall into the LitRPG category, it's much more GameLit than Cultivation (Cradle). ps, I'll read John's orc-based adventure book with you if you want.
