Pray for me please… the prayer of the saints are powerful, the prayer of the righteous are powerful… I’ve struggled with sin my whole life and I know that the struggle against sin doesn’t end when we come to God but I do believe there is an element of confusion and addiction to some of the cycles of sin that I commit. Underneath it all it is a wounded soul. Although I have times when I am doing great, I have times where I am drowning and falling apart.. I’d like to make a change for the better and overcome certain things for good. I’m willing to do what ever is necessary. I have prayed for years and always felt that God was helping me but I also seemed to never really break free. I know He loves me, I know He cares and I know He is not to blame. Notice: This Is A Cry For Help hi. i have been on this journey with God for as long as i can remember as i am the first born to my 2 Christian and God fearing parents, this is my story (a fraction of it): i was SA by someone i thought i could trust and was safe with. he was my male best friend at the time of a 3 year age difference, i was only 14. he introduced me to p*rn at the age of 13 and convinced me that it was perfectly fine to act on lust. for a while, i wasn't aware of how harmful this was as i only had shallow knowledge on the matter of lust. i was aware that the act itself was wrong but naive and was gaslit into thinking that watching it wasn't a problem, just as long as i wasn't doing it. i'm 17 now, turning 18 and i suffer from chronic depression, lack of motivation for ANYTHING aka laziness, mental clogs which keep me in cycles and ADHD which has gone untreated since i was diagnosed at 8 y/o. i am currently a double major in university, barely grasping onto anything i'm taught because of how exhausted i am, trying to fight against lust, depression and anxiety while suffering a constant battle with my mind due to the ADHD going untreated for so long. i overthink which leads to anxiety in public spaces and intense panic moments, though it's been nearly 1 year since i had a panic attack which i thank God for relieving me of. i, however, am struggling to surrender completely and letting God finally take control i feel like i'm at wits end, with no hope nor passion for anything anymore. my light dims each and every single day that passes and i recently have been catching myself thinking about my attempt to take my own life at the age of 11. i haven't allowed myself to feed into the memory because im aware that it could possibly give the devil more ways to take over my mind with intrusive thoughts. i'm exhausted and this has manifested itself physically (i fall sick easily now and by body's constantly aching), mentally (everything feels like it's crumbling), emotionally (i feel like giving up on all relations with other people because of my trauma and trust issues) and spiritually (i feel a disconnect and void between my spirit and my soul which i can tell has weakened my flesh) i would really appreciate it if anyone could pray for me as i know there is more power in numbers. can't do this on my own and i've tried asking for psychological aid (a therapist) from my parents (which was REALLY hard to do) and all i got was a life coach, who ended up transferring me to a psychiatrist after a month, nothing advanced from there. please, if you're reading this, pray with me for God to open my ears to His voice and to let Him lead the way in my life. i know that i am but i don't feel deserving of His love and have tried everything i can think of to stay strong but everything looks like it's crumbling before my eyes. please help 😞🙏🏽
