I bought the Priory of the Orange Tree over the fall and my boyfriend took it immediately before I could read it and now I'm impatiently waiting for him to finish, and he already preordered book 2 coming in February😂

i have the cruel prince too but i can’t decide if i want to read it or not. everyone has such strong opinions about it.

I read it recently! The first book was not my fav but the second one is so much better but u do have to wait to the middle of the book for the 2nd to get better. But the last book I finished in one day and it was amazing! 5/5!

i read the first book and it was just okay but the other two were just incredible. Also a lot of people say its “enemies to lovers” but they are enemies for the most part so don’t expect lots of romance

I read the first two last year and loved them, currently doing a reread before I start the last book really recommend but is heavily political which some people can find boring

To me, the key to understanding a difficult fantasy book is annotating. Color code and highlight the crap out of it, make a key, write down notes, etc. I really think it helps!!

i've been struggling with Priory of the Orange tree, just started annotating yesterday and already much more interested in reading it! would recommend annotating if a book is being slow for you :)

Natasha Preston books are so underrated. The Cellar was the first book I read by her in high school and i read it in maybe two sittings and I was obsessed with it and all of her novels. They are all pretty dark and messed up, a few have super crazy plot twists, Awake and The Lost, but I've read almost all of her books and they are easy to read and get you right out of a slump!

Des u would also love the Remnant Chronicle Series! I’m on the second book rn and omg it’s so freaking good! I’m so obsessed and the premise is really cool! Basically a girl runs away on her wedding day (bc it’s an arranged marriage) then she is being followed by the man who was sent to kill her and the prince she left at the alter! Not a spoiler it’s on the back of the book! U have to read it!

I read "The Priory of the Orange Tree" like 2 weeks ago and it was pretty good! It is confusing for like the first 100 pages but I rated it 4 stars!

I’m so glad you’re reading Kristin Hannah! I read Night Road in 2021 and loved it. I also highly recommend The Nightingale and The Great Alone. Two of my all time favorite books!!

I loved Night Road as well! Her books seem to always have me crying but they’re so so good. Watched a video interview of her and her focus is women -relationships, struggles and resilience.

as someone who absolutely LOVED they both die at the end, the first to die at the end is AMAZING. its definitely top 3 reads for me in 2022 (maybe even top read??) i loved it so much. since it’s a lot longer that TBDATE you get to know the characters a lot more, their relationships, the romance, AHHH i just love TFTDATE so much i could go on and on. cant wait to see your thoughts and opinions about it!!

DES U NEED TO READ THE DOROTHY MUST DIE SERIES! It is an amazing fantasy that isn’t hard to get into and the subplot of romance is one of my favorites!

kristen hannah is one of my favorite authors. if you loved firefly lane, the sequel fly away is also amazing. night road was great but the best one written EVER is the great alone.

I spent 50$ yesterday on 13 books that I found at the thrift store ! I always buy used books 📚 but I also buy new ones but I vowed to buy 4 new books max and the rest have to be thrifted and this time I found 3 I wanted to buy but I was hesitating on them, I can tell you I’m happy😊

the leuchtturm (means lighthouse) notebooks are the best, they are a germany brand so the quality is so good. in europe we only use these bc we don’t have the archer and olive ons

8:18 what a coincidence, I just started reading Priory of Orange Tree today! I’ve been super intimidated to start it. I’ve read 2 chapters and I think I’m going to like it! Just gotta not stress about all the names of places and people that I can’t keep track of at the moment. 😂 I’m sure that will get easier as I get into the story.

The priory of the orange tree was pretty good while reading it. But honestly I haven’t thought about it once since I finished it. Love the haul though!
