Loved this!💗 I’ve read S&B and Six of Crows. I don’t think you will have any issues reading them in either order (I read S&B first). I honestly didn’t love either but a lot of people do, so I hope you like them! A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is one of my favorite mystery series though!😍

I’m also guilty of buying entire series! I’ve had the entire ‘Throne of glass’ series sitting on my bookshelf for more than a year now, and I still haven’t even read the first book yet because I’m scared I’m not going to like it. I blame Booktok😭 Also, I’m currently reading ‘Six of crows’ and I’m really enjoying it!! I haven’t read the ‘Shadow and bone’ trilogy, because the reviews I’ve heard haven’t been that great😅 Great video Destiny!🤍

@@nannamountaincloud the first 2 or so books were a little boring but i understand why they’re important now you would miss a lot of plot holes without them, but once you get to the 3rd book it is AMAZING i cant talk abt it enough!! i do like the acotar series better though so if you havent read that one i would def reccomend that over tog

You don’t have to read shadow and bone before Six of Crows but their are a few SaB spoilers in SoC :))

Basically 'Shadow and Bone' is taking place before the events of 'Six of Crows'. But you wont miss that much if you start van 'Six of Crows'. I read 'Shadow and Bone' first. But loves 'Six of Crows' WAYYYY more:)

i recommend reading the shadow and bone trilogy before six of crows just bc it’s so much easier to understand the world and the magic system!! but unpopular opinion, i was not a fan of six of crows!! but i read it a while back so i want to reread it and see if i like it better now.

It's not 100% necessary to read Shadow and Bone before you read Six of Crows, but SoC has waaaaay less world-building, so some things might be confusing, especially concerning the Grisha! I have seen Twisted Games being mentioned so many times the past few days though that I HAD TO get it on KU lol!

You should try reading Neon Gods :) It is a trilogy but the 2nd one 3rd book is better than the first. But I did give the first one a 4/5 :)

I read the first shadow and bone book then the first 80 pages of the second but just could not get into it so me being me read the six of crows duology then finished the shadow and bone series so there's like one spoiler in six of crows which isn't really important but also ruins the ending but like it doesn't matter

If you plan on reading the shadow and bone trilogy, then you should read them before six of crows. But if u only have interest in six of crows and no other series that take place in the world (ie shadow and bone and king of scars) then u don’t need to read the shadow and bone series

Hey! I saw you got the truly devious series. There are four books, the other two are "The Hand on the Wall" & "The Box in the Woods". Honestly I feel like the third book was very slow paced and not much happened in my opinion but I enjoyed the other books Overall Id probably give the Truly Devious series like 3.5-4 stars.

I read the first two books of the shadow and bone trilogy and then gave up😂 I hated them so much I didn’t even want to waste my time reading the last one. Makes me scared to read Six of Crows😅😅
