I bought this CD with the DVD about 4 years ago, and watched this, stoned, and not knowing what to expect. Fucking blew my mind, changed my perspective on EDM forever.

No. EDM literally stands for Electronic Dance Music and is not a specific genre in itself, as it refers to all dance music made electronically. You may be thinking of either IDM (which stands for Intelligent Dance Music and is a genre similar to glitch music) or EBM (which stands for Electronic Body Music and is a genre closely related to industrial music) You might want to check out Ishkur's guide to electronic music, it's a pretty good database, a little dated, but good nonetheless.
