I do NOT understand why some people feel compelled to give negative comments, like you should do exactly what they want. They don't need to watch your channel. You're giving us inspiration and ideas. Then we do what we want. I think this is an amazing idea. You always come up with something new and different. Then I see other Crafters on KZfaq doing your ideas. Thank you for sharing your ideas.😊

Like wise. To distress means : to give simulated marks of age and wear. I've never seen paper edges turning blue or pink as it ages. I can validate different shades from black to copper (even some type of dark green) but that's it. Now, I might edge my paper in another bright color (my choice) but I'm not labelling it distressing. I'm appalled by the audacity of some comments.

The amount of subscribers you have is simply a testament to how much people like your work and YOU personally. You are incredibly easy to follow because you break everything down to its simplest form which helps even the newest crafter feel confident that they too can recreate your magic. Unfortunately some people are so caught up in their own entitlement that they tend to forget others are entitled too, which is why I love the phrase “You do YOU” in the crafting world. There are so many different varieties of styles on You tube and that’s why I love subscribing to many channels to glean something from different ones. As people mature perhaps they will realize this too. Of course if you go to the haters channel that has left you negatively opinionated comments, you’ll find that they have produced absolutely zero content. I’ve been learning from crafting channels on KZfaq since 2016 and I got to the point that I don’t even bother looking at the haters channel anymore because it was the same thing every time. Not ONE of them had ever uploaded a video of them even attempting to do what you (or anyone else) do. So I wouldn’t be bothered by their opinion of your work. Please continue to do YOU in YOUR style as YOU see fit. That’s why I have my notification Bell set for your channel, because I personally happen to love your style & feel there is always enough variety in it that I still find it interesting and can learn from you. When I want to look at brightly colored projects, I tend to search for whatever it is in the search bar and choose videos from there. Even though I relate most of your works with a more vintage vibe/style to them, it doesn’t make the overall work itself any less unique. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if dragonflies is your preference over butterflies, then you plug that in in your own work instead of using a butterfly; Or ladybugs, or a beetle, or a spider or even a roach! You do YOU! 🤷🏻‍♀️😎

I love tunnel books! When I made them I made them a little different, they were only open in the middle, on both sides there were accordion folded paper and sceneries were glued on every second accordion fold, so when it was flat you could see the mishmash of the sceneries, but when you drew out the accordion folds the sceneries made a bigger scenery, like on the theatre stage. You could glue a door at the front so it would be like a mystery opening the doors and folding out the accordion folds at the sides! With different lightings it would be like a theatre stage scenery, and since it is an idea from victorian times I think they used it as theatre mementos too. You could also change sceneries out and make up your own stories with it.

These are so pretty, they look complicated, but when you break it down it seems actually really simple. I got all kinds of ideas. I've been toying with aquatic themes a lot lately. And I could see a tunnel book showing going deeper under water, with creatures seen at darker depths. Or. Maybe a forest, wandering into a forest, or UP in the forest, ground level and climb up to the canopy like a rainforest or even a treehouse!! Maybe a drive to a vacation spot, like from Kansas to the beach showing terrain change . Or from a big city out to a rural countryside. Even a trip into outer space 🚀. You could even have a trip into the human body or into a beehive. That little window really draws you in and you want to turn the page

It's nice to get other options placed out (I'm the kind of person that are very creative, but sometimes the "first step" eludes me), but you should do what makes you happy =) (the specific thing that sparked in my brain was when you were talking about the brown inking of edges and suddenly I realised that while brown/black is probably the one that is most natural to how paper ages ... I think I might explore with blues, greens and turquoises too, because that's how copper ages)

I love how creative you are and the ideas you come up with are some I would never dream up - I appreciate you and your free videos! I find it interesting that instead of just watching someone else, people feel compelled to complain. I love butterflies and brown edges too. ❤ Keep doing you!

Ok, you really made me laugh at the end! These ideas are great. And frankly, while I don't necessarily love bugs for the most part, if that person wants to avoid butterflies in her project-go ahead! Don't complain about other people who do love using them! I really enjoy your creativity and doing things that you then share with us. Thank you!

Me too her “the under representation of other insects in my projects” made me laugh out loud. The nerve of people complaining when she has generously taken the time to show us how to do a craft that she obviously excels at and doesn’t need to share the process with us.

I think it was Thumper who said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Your books are interesting, innovative, and sweet. I have really enjoyed this video. It has set my creative juices flowing --- which is one reason you do these videos.

Natasha, I'm glad that you do YOU! I live your creativity. You bring us ideas then we can create it the way that suits our individual liking. I personally only use brown or black ink. I love how it looks. I don't understand why some people complain. You do a great job and you keep it real! Continue the great job you're doing Natasha, so many of us love you 😘!

Thanks for this great video. I can't believe people take the time to criticize. For me, I also use what I have. I dont' have distress inks, so I used some old eye shadow to ink the edges. And yes, I used brown!

Natasha you’ve done it again! Another awesome idea! Don’t worry yourself with the negativity of others. It’s only a reflection of themselves. Some people aren’t happy unless they’re unhappy. You keep doing you. It’s obvious you are loved by many. 😊 Have a wonderful week. 😊

I agree, why people comment to criticize as to why you use brown or butterflies etc. You are teaching the technique and you always encourage others to do.their own thing. I do love that you address those comments in a kind way!! So glad I found you. I'm enjoying new ideas and all the inspirations!❤❤❤

I love your idea of tunnel books, at first it did look quite tricky, but you explained it beautifully. TYFS! IDK why people think they can tell you what to put on YOUR channel. If they don't like it, then don't look. You're not forcing them to watch! Take care, see you soon. I do love your channel and your ideas 🤗

Ohhhh Natasha … I just adore you!! 😂 those bugs, fish and such at the end just made me smile 😂. I mean LOL! I love butterflies and brown too. I have never heard you tell your subscribers that they “have” to use the exact same elements that you use. You have always encouraged us to use what we like or what we have in our craft rooms/areas. 🤦🏻‍♀️ for someone to say that was well… ridiculous in my eyes. I would like to be snarky about all the other bug stickers, book images and printables out there that feel slighted by you but I can’t because They don’t exist and as far as the living creatures? I can only assume they really don’t care because they are not fans of junk journals or books … the butterflies told them all the attention they were getting was a total nuisance so they, the other bugs, really haven’t paid you any attention. 🦋🤣😂🤣🦋 Orange you glad?

So LOVE your creative videos. How anyone could criticize you in any way is astonishing to me. I've never once in all your videos, thought of ever questioning anything you make, to me you are so perfect.💕 I'm with you, I love butterflies💘 And I ink everything, in brown, and occasionally black! Hate the colors! And believe me I've tried them ugh!!!! I still to this day, think of your story you told so long ago❤ You are brave and strong, to leave your home with nothing, as such a young child, is so heart breaking to me💖 I will ALWAYS think of you as a beautiful soul💗
