Such a perfect summary of both stories!

Reading the BOM brings me comfort knowing that the words on its pages are literally the words of God...how fortunate are we that believe in this precious book...we are learning so much about the fate of unbelievers as opposed to the faithful believers...we are fore warned about the impending doom and fate of those who are dis-obedient and ignorant...the BOM teaches us to follow in Jesus Christ's footsteps, live GOD'S commandments and to exercise our faith as his disciples and servants, to teach, pray, learn, obey, repent, forgive, love and trust in Him regardless of our circumstances and in helping others as well to follow and come unto Christ...the answers that we seek are all in the BOM, and often i have had a wow! moment and then a light bulb lights up in my head when i have a question about something that i am unsure about, i pray for an answer and waaaaaallah!!!!!! i come across a scripture relating to the question...it is a book of miracle's, a book full of revelations and mysteries waiting to be explored time and time again.

The costumes, hair, wigs and makeup are all brilliantly done. Well done! The actor playing Alma is very familiar!! Seen him in a few roles, I think he played Korihor?

What a wonderful depiction of Mosiah 21-24. I have recently completed reading this in the Book of Mormon and I do know these things to be true of the experiences of King Limhi's people and Alma's people. Like them we can experience trials to become more humble so that we can rely more upon Him. Some come because of disobedience. These trials give us opportunities to seek after and feel the Lords power in our lives. With patience and faith we can be delivered from bondage whether physically or spiritually.

Will mormons delete my comment sense I'm no mormon? I wouldn't mind a movie. I think it all sounds ridiculous. Yet I'd still watch.

If only people realized when they watched the story, they were reading American history. These chapters in the book of Mormon are all about the exploratory age right before Joseph Smith (alma) restored the church.

Why are mist Nephites depicted as Laminites?

They must have removed the movie you are talking about. What I watched has nothing to do with the BOM.
