I love bookstores. There is a peaceful tranquility there. It is quiet and the smell and sound of books are intoxicating. That's why I love your librarian videos. I like going to bookstores, too. The first time when I went to a bookstore, I like to read the Sonic The Hedgehog comic books, which were in the Archive Volume series, and reading the walkthrough game guide books for games. Anyways, do you like reading Sonic The Hedgehog comics?

"All the Light We Cannot See" is an AMAZING WWII historical fiction novel. Alternates P.O.V.s between a blind French girl and a Nazi boy living in Nazi-occupied France (and the time leading up to both of them being involved in the war). I'd recommend it as an audiobook (unless you can read and understand French and German) because there are words and lines/phrases in both French and German. One of my favorite books ever and I've never been into historical fiction or non-fiction.

I will never understand Romance novels either. I either find myself in the true crime section of Barnes and Nobles or the mystery/horror sections. Best books out there.

@zephyra Honestly BAM was nice to work for. Customers could get a cup of coffee or coffee drink and walk around and browse books. We would let regulars sit down at the café (I worked in both sections) and as long as they didnt mess up the book we'd let them read new books with no issue. Although at BAM! we have to push magazine subscriptions (they only ask when you have a credit card so if you use cash you're good!) and membership rewards cards. I always gave members free coupons though. You can save 5 off 25, 10 off 50, and 25 off 100.

I went to one of these in Erie, PA, and OMGosh, the Waldenbooks memories were overwhelming in the BEST way - having grown up with my Gram working there. Love this!!!! Can't wait to watch later!!!!! TY!!!!💖💖💖💖

I haven't ever been to the US but the first place to visit when I'm abroad is the nearest decent bookstore. That's why I love your bookstore videos, they're like virtual tours for me. Especially this one because you point out a lot of my favourite authors' books. C.J. Box, Michael Connelly, Karin Slaughter, John Sandford... Probably because you hang out at the mystery shelves a lot more than usual in this video. Thanks for everything!

I’m a romance novel fan, to each her own. Interesting fact, the romance genre has been the primary financial support for the publishing industry allowing publishers to bring to print more “respectable” books-especially during the recession.

You should definitely read Wicked. It is a weird (in the best way), creative, thought-provoking spin on a classic story! There are 3 sequels, too.

Not a big Jane Austen fan as well. I read Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, and one other book I can't remember the title of, but I can't get myself to like her novels. Anyway, this was a fun walkthrough I really enjoyed looking at all those shelves of books!

I just bought a book of Flannery O'Connor short stories but I wish I had found that copy with the peacock. Pretty! She did write "A Good Man is Hard to Find" and part of the reason I bought the book is I wanted to re-read that story :)

As someone who shelves at a library I always feel pain whenever I shelf anything by Debbie MacComber or James Patterson. Because they have written SO MANY books. Like James Patterson takes up an entire shelf.

My friend loves the classics but I can’t get into them. I wish I liked adult fiction because I’m embarrassed my taste isn’t sophisticated but oh well! I like what I like :)

What’s your favorite genre? I mostly just read YA fantasy/romance, erotica lol 😂, spiritual books, self help books and since I’m a social work major (at 32 :/) books on that topic!
