I am here today with my bookshelf tour (as of Feb 2023). On top of being a romance reader, I’m a romance book collector and had so much fun sharing my romance collection of favorites, special editions, and historical romances. This is majority of my collection! I love watching bookshelf tours and seeing how everyone else organizes their books, so hopefully you enjoyed seeing mine. Hi Christi, I would definitely be interested if you did do a more in-depth post of your historical romance and their step-backs. Like you, the old-school ones they just don’t make them like they use too.

Hi, Christi. That was fun to watch. I’m really impressed with your collection! It certainly is eclectic! I jaunt used book stores and resale shops for books I can’t find online or in regular book stores. I’m currently hunting for a copy of Dark and Stormy Night. I also noticed that you have a few Sandra Brown westerns. I read them years ago and had almost forgotten about them. I really love her contemporary romances. I think I have at least one copy of them all. 👏👏👏

I LOVE LOVE LOVE historical romaces and the shifter or paranomal romaces in mass market haha. I used to binge read them form my public library when i first really got into reading! I'm looking to get some CEO romaces and dark romances for my collection as well as try out a couple of sports romaces.

Just a tip, since your shelves are adjustable and you have a little empty space above your books you may be able to add another shelf. You can get just the shelves from a place like Menards or Lowes or you can get some cut from a longer white shelf to fit. I did this and it added so much space. You are lucky to be in with some of the boxes you are. I just know if I get on a wait list I'm going to get approved AFTER the books I'd want. I have no idea how long it would take to even get in.

That is an excellent tip!!! I was wondering about adding a shelf and don’t know why Lowe’s didn’t factor into my thinking of where to look for an extra shelf. 😅 Thanks a ton!

The Black Lily is so so good. I recommend the whole series. I have yet to read a bad book by Miss Juliette Cross. Also, King of the South is a must read. Has the perfect enemies to loves and the witty banter. Love love love.

That’s so good to hear! I have loved everything I’ve read by Juliette Cross too so I’m very excited to get to The Black Lily (and that whole series)! 😍 Oooh ok yes I need to get to King of the South, I might do a reread of The Surviving Trace first cause I loved that trilogy lol

Have you ever tried Kathleen Brooks she has some small town books they are a romance with a touch of mystery they are so good they follow the town and their kids some are free on kindle and then there is C.M. Owens (S.T. Abby and Kristy cunning) I think ST Abby’s would kinda be similar to I think black sheep I believe I’ve not read the black sheep and the kristy cunning is a rh she has passed so not all of her series are finished but they are still really good just don’t read the expert for the next books if you don’t like cliff hangers

Thanks so much! The tall black shelves are actually from Best Buy yearssss ago (they are shelves for movies and games so don’t stick out far which I love). Or the cube black shelves are from target.
