Thank you THANK YOU! The Christian lean on these stories with Holmes is like a dream come true. I have been a Holmes fan for most of my life, ever since I read The Hound of the Baskervilles as a teen. One thing I could always count on with Holmes was a great plot that required actual thinking to follow & zero sex, foul language or gore.

Was surprised to learn Mr Cary Grant had a role in this story. Love the many humorous touches, especially the bants between Holmes and Watson. Well done to the author and narrator,

Also so glad to see a true Brit narrator. Mr. Godwin is a good narrator but it took away from the story with an American accent reading to me about Victorian England. Thanks again

So the victim of this crime drank a bottle of wine that was delivered to him anonymously, despite him not knowing who sent it, or where it came from, or knowing anything about it. Seriously? this guy deserved to be poisoned. This story of a murder committed by accident is very interesting and well worth listening to.

Milton Keynes did not exist in 1890s it actually became reality in 1967…. Also your books start the same a railway route. North American accents do not sound well reading English Victorian novels…..
