If we always fear telling the truth to Manhyia that Kotoko belongs to them and that they are the only hierarchy that can inject hefty money to build a healthy training grounds and stadium with facilities, infrastructure, and amenities, Kotoko could one day collapse because Manhyia has been sleeping for far too long on their key responsibilities for Kotoko.

I was more than ashamed of myself when I saw the eroded training grounds and the deplorable environment. Manhyia is the only powerhouse that can construct a good training ground, and modern stadium for Kotoko because Kotoko belongs to them. Sadly, Manhia is treating Kotoko as if the club is an orphan. Why is Asanteman, a rich region with a lot of rich people kept quiet and nobody wants to tell Manhyia the truth to wake up and make Kotoko better? Most of the smaller clubs like Samatex, Nsoatreman, Aduana, Bechum, Chelsea, Nations FC, etc. all have their own stadia (stadiums) but a club founded as far back as 1935 has nothing to brag about. Are we not ashamed that Accra Hearts of Oak have left us behind? If Manhyia doesn't do what's needful to resurrect Kotoko, one day the fans will do a demonstration against Manhyia and the handlers of Kotoko.

Manhyia is why Kotoko has NOT been able to rise up to compete with our competitors such as Zamalek, Ah-Hilal, Eh-Lily, etc. Every year, Manhyia uses the same old administrative module to manage Kotoko but to no avail. Why do we want to see different dividends and growth in the club when Manhyia constantly and repeatedly does the same thing? Managing a club is not only about giving money to recruit players. It goes beyond buying players. A good knowledgeable football enthusiast owner of a good club knows that players and clubs need a good and healthy training ground and modern stadium fully furnished modern club house and an acceptable gym for players. Kotoko, an old club and once a fearsome club in Ghana doesn't have a stadium of its own and no good training ground. It's shameful.

Infact yesterday I was I ashamed of myself to see how our training ground looks you can see the faces of our new foreign players the environment is very bad pls talk to authorities to do something about it and who is responsible at AJ complex the place looks very bad for team like kotoko

@prayers4allable it is the support base that makes a team big. Kotoko supporters, more often than not, pride themselves with about 8 million supporters. What are we also doing to support Manhyia and management? The king coughs GH 60,000 to pay salaries of players every month. Are you previewed to the amount of money the king had given to the IMC to recruit players? Have you sat down to analyse the kind of face-lift we would bring to the training centre if the supporters decide to contribute Ghc 5.00 to the club every month? Have we planted a tree that bears money at Manhyia? The fact that the team belongs to the king doesn't mean that his subjects (supporters) aren't supposed to contribute to the development of the club. What are we doing as supporters to ensure that the training pitch sees a face-lift that befit the status of the club? You can't demand anything from Manhyia, but plead. We should be ashamed as supporters of the clubs. It is time we stopped pointing fingers at the king and start to make meaningful contributions to the club we claim we love. The Overlord of the Kingdom has a lot over his shoulders. Kotoko should be the problem of his subjects. Let's all CONTRIBUTE to build Asante Kotoko.

Does Manhyia know Kotoko deserves a healthy training ground and a stadium? What at all (if any) has the technical director of Kotoko, Kwasi Appiah, written or suggested to Manhyia about the dilapidated and malfunctioning structures of Kotoko? Again, what did the PhD Coach Ogum write in his end-of-year report to Manhyia? Did he appeal to the great king to build a stadium and healthy training facilities for Kotoko or as usual, did he only request for money to buy players? I'm disappointed in the coach, the technical director, and Manhyia for they have all failed Kotoko fraternity and affiliate enthusiasts.
