When I was little I made 100 paper different paper airplanes in a week and one was able to fly up and down multiple times in one throw. It looked a lot like an accordion.

Foldable Flight. I’ve tried making it again but it never worked. It looked exactly like an accordion but folding an accordion again didn’t work (or at least as well).

hi, thank you for offering such great knowledge for free. I was wondering what kind of paper is best to make such planes or even use those to break world records? I trying with simple spectra a4 75gsm Copier Paper but they don't fly far and also not much durable like after 4-5 flights went keep going down. I am also working on perfecting symmetry but looking for a good plane making paper as well, thanks.

You can definitely fold one out of A4 that flies well, but I'm not entirely sure whether you will get it to fly back to you. I just folded one to try. It flies, but I don't have a space large enough space to test whether I can get it to fly in a full circle. My Patreon page has a free template for converting A4 paper into US Letter ( 8.5 in x 11 in ) proportions.
