God rest my mother's soul, but I went through the same thing. My brother dropped out of high school, came out as gay at 16, came out as transgender at 19, has been in jail 5 times, and still thinks the world revolves around him. My mom always let him have his way, so he thinks that he can have his way with anyone. If he doesn't get his way, he wants to fight. He cause my mom the most heartache, but she favored him the most because in my opinion, he reminded her of herself. My brother tried to use his preference as an excuse to why people don't like him. It's his attitude that people don't like.

I feel what boosie saying bout ma dukes. I experienced that too, but once i got older i understood that momma was actually tending to all of her children's weaknesses. It wasnt that she favored 1 of her children over the other 7, she knew her kids well enough to know which one needed to be picked up after he/she fell, and which child to allow to get up on their own.
