when looking at Bollinger Bands, its probably going to be impractical to 'watch' more than , say, 2 horses, would you suggest just concentrating on the favourite?

You need to watch the runner that is most likely to trend, which is usually the favourite. But there is a sweet spot for pricing and market type, which I will cover in a future video. But speaking at a basic level the shortest price in the market or the horse with most volume will be the one most likely to trend.

I've never looked at third party products, so can't recommend any. I sort of don't want to get into that side of things.

yer no sort of. its a good idea but ( trader Sock broker here ). prob is betangel moves to fast. If you had a bot then its a yes, unsure of a bot capabilities with charting, to add bolinger bands prob the worst indicator. If it had over bought volume that would work best, if anyone can find a way to overlay this ill give you the 4 indicators that would be the bomb

Not really a discussion on it's merits, I'm just telling people what I do. You can't really transplant technical indicators from financials into sports markets as they behave very differently. So be aware of that. You can automate and create your own indicators on Bet Angel using the automation tools and math functions. So if you want to try something it's there for you.

Yes, it's a shame that Betfair Exchange is not available in the United States. But big business is doing a great job of stifling their adoption.

I dont get it at all. You say when volatility is low you're buying and when high selling. Fine but in yout example you suggest that you can also sell (lay) when volatility is low after a run and the trend will reverse.

But and selling volatility can happen in both directions, I was just trying to capture the essense of what I did and why.
