Obviously results vary from rig to rig so play around with different textures/shadows/hbao. MiP streaming makes some systems run much better & other slightly worse. Good settings guide as always, Thanks mate! Speaking of PostFX, clarity and adaptive sharpnen is the settings to avoid both kills like 10fps just by touching the slider by +5. Might be different depending on ur PC but these 2 are the heavy ones so Keep that In mind when you guys playing around with ur PostFX.

Thank for the vid, the explanation on all of the settings was really helpful! Edit: Oh man, the NVidia settings for responsiveness, the better frames and frame stability has made it really smooth. I used to hate using the 1/4 scopes because they would cause my frames to chug, but now it's really smooth on the smaller maps, and it's better than before on the bigger maps like shoreline.

A really frustrating aspect of these Tarkov graphics guides are the level of contradictory information between channels. That being said, I feel more compelled to follow this one because of the deeper explanation of each setting, what they do, why you want or don't want it. Most other videos on this don't go much further than tell you to disable things "just because". Thanks! Very well produced content I must say!

Also RE: Nvidia Boost. If you set a temperature target in the Nvidia performance overlay, your temperatures will automatically stay at that number. Fan speed will be adjusted to make that targeted temp. So an increase in power wouldn't necessarily mean your GPU would get hotter if you have your targeted temp set. Meaning you shouldn't see a drop in clock speed. The fans would get louder but who cares if you have your headset on.

Thanks man, lighthouse was un playable for me but i had good fps on every other map so it was super frustrating but now im rocking 80-100 so i can get in on the good loot

1) What about "Overall visibility" distance and air drops? Obviously sometimes crate is invisible in the sky until you will scope in that direction. 2) Finally someone who understands Reflex + Boost, good job making your home work! 3) Speaking from my experience with UE4 but if you have enough VRAM, mip streaming can actually lower your FPS as it needs to constantly load and unload textures. But its obviously depends on implementation, I didn´t check it in Tarkov as I have 6gb, but now I surely will 4) DLSS is only available for RTX cored GPU, so if people like me having 1660ti or 1070-1080 on 2k+ screen we actually already have the best solution that available for us, its called "Nvidia Image Scaling" and can be activated from nvidia control panel

I could be wrong but I believe that the low latency mode option in the nvidia control panel 3d settings corresponds to the reflex low latency setting in game. For example in control panel, the options are "on" and "ultra", which is very similar to "On" and On + boost". When the setting became available in EFT, i had it only switched to "On" in game and noticed no increase in FPS or latency. I then set low latency to "on" in 3d settings ( "on" in game as well) and my frames increased drastically and I could notice a faster input.

Thanks man I was having some trouble recently. I have a i7 and an 3050 (laptop gpu). The game was running fine up until recently but I think I must’ve messed with the settings and turned some up to high without realizing. It runs at 60-70+ fps now. I think they’re gonna put out another patch and make it even better optimized but for now my setting are good and the game looks and runs just fine.

i 100% noticed the ssr high settings yesterday, thought I was going crazy thank you for the upload. 3060ti r7 2700x 16gb ram high and ultra shadows everything else the same current 72 fps. Unity update 2 years ago really screwed my fps lol

You can go into a scav run and Alt+F4 and you shouldn't have to queue when you rejoin. Easy way to restart the game.

I watched comparison videos and some people actually loose fps by enabling Mip Streaming (do a comparison on your rig before taking that as the god sent option) ! TAA High get the game so blurry that if you don't have a resolution as high as VoX_E, you should probably go for the lower "TAA" If you have a beafy GPU and a low res screen, supper sampling could be a good way to get less aliasing without the blurriness of some other anti-aliasing (the one from your GPU pannel could be more optimized, just try and compare). Lowering visibility can make you see people more easily and can even act as a wallhack at some distances (grass blades stop being rendered at a certain point, architecture too). From what I learned out of Battle(non)sense videos is that V-Sync with G-Sync is (if you can maintain an fps amount close to your monitor refresh rate) the best. Also locking your fps at a value you can maintain most of the time is very good for muscle memory and overall smoothness appreciation.

If you have a larger res monitor with performance problems, a fix that really helped me and I don't see alot of people covering is changing the screen res. I have a GTX 1050 ti with a intel i5, and I was getting about 30-40 fps with the lowest graphics settings (0.75x upscaling so it wasnt 8 bit). I have a 3440x1440 monitor, and changing the res from my native resolution to 2560x1080 allowed me to run upscaling at 1x off, and anti alsiasing at taa getting 45-55 fps. Still isn't the best, but waayy more playable and looks so much better. (Not sure if you should do it on a smaller res monitor like 1920x1080, because currently at 2560x1080 the ui is just a little pixely.)

I think "only use physical cores" is needed to enable every time you open the game. You can check if it's actually enabled via task manager. Atleast mine isn't unless I tick that box every time on launch.

Great video, On your twitch stream do you use the post fx settings you show here or is it disabled and you use your monitor settings?

Just a few points on this video, if you have a modern GPU with 6+GB of VRAM then mip streaming is not for you, so long as you run the game at 1080p or 1440p you're not going to notice any real difference in your FPS. All this setting does, like explained in the video, is stream lower resolution textures in before you reach a model to help with stuttering, if your GPU has less than 6GB of VRAM, definitely turn it on to avoid stuttering. Ofcourse if you run the game in 4K then you're gonna need be mindful of the VRAM you use. Also the same applies to anisotropic filtering, if you have a modern GPU with 6+GB of VRAM the FPS difference is like 1-2 FPS so it really doesn't matter at all which setting you choose.
