@@GoodxJ The mini-x should be $999 . I've had mine for almost 2 months and just performed maintenance by replacing the rubber belts & rode about 275 miles. Does everyone else still ride their's?

LOVE this site. I can’t wait for more. I suggest you add (distance x performance) metrics (like, how well does it perform at 50% battery life) though that might take considerable time and effort. Outstanding work. One more request: The mini X is NOT compatible with the standard range battery out the gate. Can you find a way to make it work? 🙂 Seriously, EVERYONE wants the option to fly with a smaller battery when needed but the extended range any other time. Thanks!

Great video as always! Just a tip for future videos: The chart at 0:24 is getting a bit crowded. It is good to have all this info but maybe you can add an arrow or somehow highlight the reviewed board. I had to to pause the video because it took me 5 sec to find it in the chart

I just joined Boosted gang. I'm in NYC. I prefer the smaller size to the longboard because it's closest to a cruiser and skateboard which I've been riding for about 15 years. It's a solid ride. The weight makes it a little different but pretty fun when you get comfortable

Would love to see how you guys stack this up against the Metro Board 29” Micro Slim. Especially with it’s 10w lights & largest battery. Would hill climbing & ability to leave it standing up on end while in the coffee shop truly make it more every day useful?

I got my mini x last week n so far I like it I also live in Seattle n it has not given me a problem with hills great , but the only thing I’m still scared about is cracks bumps , and bumpy roads u can feel it a lot but funny thing is when I wear running shoes it observes the shocks a lot but with my classic model adidas my feet feel the rough terrain but other then that I love my mini x

Yea, the longboard is better suited for an electric board that you want to use to go places. It's more like a vehicle, IMO.

I love the X rode it for my first time today I only weigh 112lb so I'm pretty sure I reached a top speed of 23-25mph only draw back is having no flex suspension destroyed my back ankle and knee after only 3 miles of riding.

Update after wearing running shoes with footprint kingfoam impact soles my legs have gotten use to the vibration my running shoes are about 1/2 inch thick. P.S took a nasty fall didn't have my helmet strapped and busted my head open 9 staples later happy to be still riding. Be safe.

Let me preface my question by saying that riding the mini x is the first time I’ve ridden a skateboard. Period. I found it to be fairly easy to get the hang of the first time I rode. My main concern is that it had quite a wobble to it when gaining speed. This makes me quite nervous. Do you find the longboards to be more stable than the x or s shortboards? I’m considering selling mine or returning the x for a plus. What do you think?

Tightening the trucks helps prevent speed wobbles. With a longboard its way more stable due to balance from your feet positioning and flex of the board helps with bumps on roads. But once again if you like to carve alot then loosen trucks. If you like speed then tighten trucks for more stability.

The Mini S seems to be the solution for your portability gripes, though. It's lighter, goes almost as fast, and also costs 3/4 the price. How come there wasn't a mention of it in the vid?

Dan Bridavsky mini s say they board goes 18mph. But when you ride it. It tops out at 17mph. I ordered the mini x. Its 20 mph.when you ride it, it tops out at 19mph. But I'm going to buy swiss bearings and buy 90mm wheels. That should make the board top out to about 23 to 24 mph😉

Ashley J get the mini X, much easier to navigate sidewalks and tight corners. Better portability as well, and you’ll get used to its slightly more rigid build compared to other longer boards :)

Only the mini s if I remember right... (because of battery capacity) 100wh are allowed in notebooks for example and I think the mini s has less than a 100wh battery.

I enjoyed the review but everyone keeps bringing up the difference between long boards. That’s like comparing a Miata to a 6 series just because they’re both Mazda. Otherwise. I feel the info was decent.

FonzySwagz it depends on rider weight also. Boosted must have tested their boards with female riders weighing at 100lb lol. I am hoping to top out at their acclaimed speed with me weighing in at 135~140ish.
