A video showing the skits of install on of the Thermal R&D exhaust for the 1.5T Honda Accord 2018-2019. Includes a small cold start clip plus some acceleration under Neutral. A full video of different driving scenarios will be loaded seperately.

PRL Catless Downpipe
PRL Stage 1 Intake
K-Tuner Stage 2.1 Base Map
*All sounds were done in Sport mode.
There is slight drone inside the car at very high RPMs but not bothering at all. Sound is very aggressive outside but decently heard in the inside just like advertised.
Install is direct bolt on and easy to do, but I prefer professional installation. I went to Asian Motors again for their phenomenal service (see below for shop information).

I went the custom piping (3 inch) route. Removed the exhaust finishers and went quad tips. There were no good exhaust systems that I liked.

@@sierrabeamer6476 it's hard to not got a great sound without a setup like mine. I get some drone due to the catless downpipe. If you want it toned down a bit I would only change that to catted. Looking for something economical? Upgrade the pipes to 2.5" with some good mufflers. Normally a good muffler shop can be of best help.

@@BoostedWhipz I really dont get good gas mileage now with my car so if thats what you mean economical or cost of the setup? the cost doesnt really bug me, id really like a bolt on with no extra fab hangers so I can alwasy take it away or to another accord if I want to trade mine. After my wreck the car has me alittle spooked with resell.

It doesn't come with a Frontpipe... It's called Frontpipe Exhaust because it connects to that area not that it comes with one. I had the same doubt when I bought it lol.

@boostedwhipz Did your system leaked after installation? I installed mine 2 days ago and started experiencing sluggish acceleration and drone. I lifted the car and inspected the system and found out it’s leaking all over the place… I retighten all bolt but the leaks didn’t stop.

Do you know if the 1.5 and 2.0 have the same exhaust piping size? I seen a magnaflow kit and it said it only fits the 2.0 but I was gonna see if I could fit it on my 1.5

It's not about the piping size but rather the design is different. Different weld points and bents. The piping size for the 1.5T is 2.25". I believe the 2.0T is as well, but it's the design mould that is different.

How much horse power can you run having a CVT transmission. I have the same car started to do some upgrades etc. But don't wanna mess up the trans? I seen u have the down pipe and ktuner etc. What are they telling you?

I ran Dyno at 220WHP, but I had to retune in. I am looking at being 240-260WHP. Stock is 172 to the wheels. They market 192 but that's at the crank.

Wait until I load my other video. Cost is like $800-900 I believe. Install is like $150-160. But if you have tools do it yourself. It's easy! The shop charges me a way lower rate because I am there a lot.

Looks and sounds great. However you guys need to learn how to lift a Honda by its designated jack points. Those little 4" wide sections of the pinch weld that stick down a little lower than the rest of the pinch weld are reinforced specifically for you to lift the vehicle. Use those next time. The floor boards are not rated to hold up the car.

Hey, I just ordered a thermal exhaust for the Accord after seeing your video. I used your discount code. I ordered Tuesday night and it’s now Sunday and it still just says order confirmed. I haven’t seen anything about it being shipped yet. I selected the UPS Ground 3 day option. I even reached out to them and didn’t get a response. Do you know how long it takes for it to arrive? You may have got it earlier, but do you know how long it would take on average to get it? It still says ordered confirmed and nothing about it being shipped. Thanks.

Also, is this exhaust less restrictive than the stock exhaust? Do you know what the hp and torque gains are with just the exhaust and no aftermarket down pipe?

All exhaust systems provide minimal gains as standalone. It is less restrictive and you have more air flow. 2.5" piping compared to 2.25" on the stock. Material of the pipes run a bit cooler as well.

Videos don't capture the full sound. Each motor build sounds different. The Focus has a different setup and it's a smaller car. Hence exhaust is shorter with a much deeper throtty sound.

Damn fam dig the exhaust but at this point I feel like you might want to sell and just go for the type R. If you can get a good deal from a dealer that isn’t a scumbag about charging over msrp I think you’d have yourself a project car with way more possibilities that we’d all like to see.

@@BoostedWhipz It's sponsored?! Dang son! Well, the Accord is for a different consumer than the CTR. Accord = Family man (But could def make a VIP ride out of it). CTR = Single dude or newly wed. If we get a new car, I'm probably going to get the Accord 2.0T Sport. In either blue or white. I would love to through some 3 piece wheels on it, and air suspension (bags), and some PRL Motorsports goodies under the hood. Nothing too crazy.

Yes but I am not custom tuned. So the full potential of each of these parts are not there yet. After custom tune I should be close to 290-300+

@@BoostedWhipz definitely waiting on that ever since I saw it on Instagram. I also have an idea for a possible video. The interiors of the non touring trims are so boring and dark inside. I've seen various sellers on Ebay selling different color trim cover over the gray parts on the dash and doors. Some even have fake wood overlays that look nice. Or maybe even vinyl wrap some parts in different colors. Just throwing it out there love your videos by the way in watch them as soon as they upload.

The majority of the gains is from the Downpipe. Exhaust won't do much.

Borla sounds way better and louder tooand it's a cat back exhaust not the front pipe u didnt replace the front pipe
