This video shows you how to assemble a Northbox 5X PC-Fan based Corsi-Rosenthal kit. Applies to both the HDF and Acrylic versions.
You will need the following extra components - these are recommendations but other similar parts can also work, be sure filters are MERV13 or higher rated.

Here is a tape we recommend, but any 2 inch tape should work OK as long as it's not masking tape:

I used 2500 filters. Will that affect the output?

@@ExtraAdventure Sorry I just saw this, I frequently use MPR2200 and the 2500 are rated MERV14, I don't believe they will affect the airflow.

What are the dimensions in inches? 🤔 I like this kit‼️😁👍🏽 Only recommendation: I’d rather the kit came with black twisty ties instead of zip ties, so I can reuse it if I have to replace a fan or make a mistake & have to redo anything. I hate all the extra waste plastic cut to be thrown away after cutting all that length of zip ties multiplied by hundreds of customers. 😅

It's 20 x 20 x 6.5 inches. Not a bad suggestion re: the zip ties, I'm so used to them from my years of bundling audio visual cables.

@@RobertFantinatto do you know of efficient exhaust window pc fans? I see it’s only 7 - 12 watts to run an air filter from pc fans, & I need to ventilate really toxic indoor air quality 24/7. Peak & super peak electric summer charges are killing me. If you could make me an acrylic with the fan & hole screws cut out, in a kit with hardware & power supply for dimensions I can give, I would greatly appreciate it!! 😮Thanks!

Any chance you will have a 140mm version?> For wiring any chance you will go down the USB route so we can use a power pack or usb charger instead of barrel type plug? And out of curiosity why are the two fans at the bottom instead of much higher. Wouldnt the bottom push out more dust on the floor? Thank you.

I am working on a 6 fan machine that uses the 140mm fans, primarily as a silent solution for classrooms. The 2 fans are placed on the bottom as that configuration gives the best performance (CADR) when using a 5 fans set up likely due to less turbulence. Extensive testing by Rob Wissmann of different fan configurations was used as the basis for the design: x.com/robwiss/status/1584723252340891648?s=20

@@RobertFantinatto That is great to hear! I am guessing with 6 fan setup you are going with a different filter size 16x 25? or are you going with 20x 20

@@RobertFantinattodo fans with lights use more energy & are they an option?🤔 The colored lights would look cool on the black acrylic case‼️❤️😅

@@capcom4eva You can get our bare kits that do not include fans, lighted fans will require additional electronics to generate the 5 volts from the 12 volts to power the LEDs. The LEDs themselves do not use much power at all.

I 'd like to know what the fan connectors ,power switch with wiring and power supply are and where to get them ,also is there a way to make these variable speed ?
