Did not work for code runner need help!! All I get when I click on the setting for code runner to be added I get just a 1 line code of the settings { "windows zoom level" : 2 }

Sir code is not running in browser please help me

Live server not working great for me. With VSCode and chrome side by side I work on my code. My index.html page is stagnant- no changes. It's not launched yet still on my window 10. point is, I can save the code- still no changes. I Ctl O (open with live server which just creates the same page "updated yes" but on a new tab. I know it's supposed to, or should update the page while I am coding in real-time. Am I wrong? what am I missing?

how to add chrome in vs code? It's only running for microsoft edge. But i want to run for google chrome.
