This wonderful Booth Brothers rendition of the Mosie Lister (1921 - 2015) classic was performed in September 2012 during a special tribute concert in Nashville, TN to honour Lari Goss, (1945 - 2015) who arranged and performed wonderful gospel music for over 40 years.
Group members are Ronnie Booth on lead vocals, Jim Brady on Baritone, and Michael Booth on tenor.

As my mother lay in her bed, in out of consciousness and I sat on the sofa just 10 or so feet away, I had been sitting beside her singing her favorite hymns. I took a short break, looking for strength and solace and found a concert on TV where the Booth Brothers were singing this song. It’s always been a favorite. My mom was a beautiful soprano singer and I accompanied her on the piano and sometimes sang the alto part. Music and church were a huge part of our family life. I began to sing along to this beautiful song and as I was singing looked in at her and she had a wide smile on her face. I cried as I tried to finish singing along but have always cherished that moment. She went to be with the Lord peacefully that night. I praise God for these wonderful men and others like them who probably will never realize how God uses their ministries to bless so many.

Yes! So true! I find it hard to believe i hadnt heard of the Booth Brothers years ago since ive always loved gospel music. They are so awesome. Everytime i listen to them i thank God for them and pray blessings upon blessings on them. Such a ministry. My mother taught my sisters n i to sing, and i taught my children to sing. My mother-in-law was an awesome pianist and I always prayed, dreamed we would have a singing ministry. My children are grown now. I've introduced them to the Booth Brothers in hopes they will be persuaded to give their talents totally back to our Lord. God bless the Booth Brothers forever and always.

At the age of 16 I gave my heart to the Lord! Yes Jesus changed my life, All things really changed! I thank God I went to the Assembly of God Tabernacle and walked out a changed young 16 year old! Now an Ordained Assemblies of God minister for the last many many years at age 72 Because I met the Master!

My initial acceptance was in 9th grade at the 1st Billy Graham movie in MPLS MN. I re-dedicated my life in SEPT 21st 1983, have certainly been fought and attacked to stop or end it all ( strong physical battles!!) but love him more now and my personal ministry has just continued to grown. Called in the areas of healing but main calling is young people!!💜

Grandma no offence but not all gospel groups are white. Look up alabaster box, and the origins of gospel group are African Americans. Booth Brothers are fantastic, but the best? That's pushing it.

I find myself listening to this wondrous song everyday--in these days of such evil and spiritual warfare, it is so awesome to hear this inspired song. It gives such peace and belonging and reassurance to me!!! I met the Master long ago, but being home bound the last 4+ years, it has been hard--I have kept to my Bible studies and friends from my church are always uplifting me. Still it is not the same as being in church with them. Jesus is always close!!!!! Who doesn't love the way the Booth Brothers sing a wonderful song!!!

These guys and the whole Gaither Homecoming caboodle videos/DVDs have seen our family through some very tough times. Bringing cheer, comfort, encouragement, guidance and lots more. All this music has been instrumental (no pun intended ☺) in keeping our children close to the Lord! And we sing lots together. Brainwash your family with it from day one!! 😄 😂 Truly inspired stuff. alittlestrength I totally agree with you but we need to pray that the Lord will increase their desire for Gospel songs rather than the Secular-Western music. I was very disappointed when I saw them live singing nothing but that kind, while their harmony was great, the words just didn’t leave me with the same encouragement their other music does.

He said it before the song started---all glory goes to God---God uses wonderful people to accomplish His wishes!!! Just as He did in Lari Goss---he was not anything special--until he met the Master!!!! Lari was used willingly by the Master to arrange and perform so many songs for over 40 years!!!! What a wonderful use of his life!!!!! I am so thankful I know the Master!!!!

I've met that Master at 13yo! My mother was a saint and my father was an alcoholic but we were still blessed! Eventually my father quit drinking and was saved! Then I knew the man my mother fell in love with! I've had well over 200 foster children that didn't know the blessings I've known! A few I've known as adults, they were abused sexually and phyphysically

So thankful for the day I too met the Master in 1957 at an old fashion alter in The First Pentecostal Church in New Orleans. Looking back now I can see how His hands held me safely even when times of enticing moments, but He shielded my mind. I’m so thankful for a praying mother, too. God has truly blessed me beyond earthly measure, now looking forward to the best part, the eternal promises of God beyond the grave.

this is one of the most beautiful songs with the booth Brothers have ever done I love all their music but this song I met the master and the Beautiful accompaniment just blesses my soul every time I play it

Oh my goodness!!! The harmonies give mw goosebumps and make me wanna shout. I want this version played at my funeral and im sure ill get goosebumps in my casket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just learned a little bit about the man they were ( honoring ) Mr. Lari Goss .... he just died last month ( Jan 2015 ) ....seemed like a great Christian. Lord bless his family. Lastly, I just recently discovered the Booth Brothers .... very good, a blessing.

Yes, Lari was a blessing to so many! I'm so glad you have discovered the Booth Brothers. I have been "following" them for the past 5 years and they are my favourite group.
