Disregarding his signature, 3* Adversarial offers the most value for Boothill. I'm fine using that, I just hope they release a 4* BE lightcone for him like they've done other characters

@@JayceRustia the whole problem was that there weren't any f2p Acheron lightcones, that lightcone being added was useless because we already had GNSW

Bronya or ruan mei will be even better! Unfortunately super break cannot crit. So save up for ruan mei that will come in next patch.

also lc and some crit can help with breaking and killing the first enemy which will in turn give him 2 stacks of the medal thing at the beginning of the battle

You mean the one they changed to fit FF better lol well if you run HMC with BH it works so I guess it’s fine… But her BIS is Broyna > HMC but you need E1S1 Broyna to make it work.

Great guide, thank you! Can i ask the question? My boothill with lightcone buff + juan mey and hoho speed buffs has over 200+ speed, and i am just have boots and some little procs for speed. This overhelming speed gives something for the character?

The overwhelming speed is meant to boost the additional passive for his signature ornaments(talia) = when his speed exceeds 145, wearer gets an additional 20% break effect

Gallagher in this team feels kinda as irreplaceble as Aventurine on the IPC FUA team. He can bring so much damage and break to that table I unironically get the same clear speed as I would with Pela while not having to worry about dying

i think you play boothill better than me lol. closely the same stat as yours but mine with higher be and lower spd. you defeat the first floor with around 5 cycles while i defeat the second floor with 6 cycles (i barely made to 3 star clear)

What am I doing wrong?? I know could probably just be a major skill/build issue but I’d love to hear some advice! My boothill (e0s1) is only doing 250-290k WITH ruan mei. I don’t have HMC or Gallagher built yet so my current team is Boothill + Ruan Mei + Bronya + Aventurine He has about 300% BE but with RM and Bronya (With watchmaker) I remember it goes to about 385? (Don’t know if RM gives that much because I haven’t checked 😭) I’ve seen other Boothills reach about 400k, so I wonder why my damage is so low; anyway great video!

Its actually better to run bronya boothill if you want faster clears but running hmc boothill even tho gives slower clears,that numbers are much higher also in the e1s1 showcase he ran pela not optimal but better if you want high numbers

well most of his damage comes from mhc, so yea just get mhc and it will spike up high

Does break damage scale with damage bonuses like mei’s skill?

BE damage doesn’t scale with atk increase or damage bonus, but it does scale with res and def reduction/ignore so mei’s ult does increase his damage with the res pen. Also her skill provides an extra 50% break efficiency which can be a big help in the first cycle and increase his super break damage if you play him with harmony mc.

boothill's floor is very high, but his ceiling from substats is also pretty low seems like break dps are going to get most of their damage increases from supports?

he may do well without a lc but his signature is 24% better than his second best choice (adversarial the 3 star lc)

Any support that can advance forward him would be good for him. So bronya, sparkle, and robin when she ults. More turns for cowboy means more damage

All good and fun until you realize that without ruan mei he will deal only about 100-150k damage. On a single enemy. So really hes not that mind blowing. Yes by no means 'bad' or 'the worst character' but tricky, eats skill points and requires 1 or 1,5 specific team to function properly. Have what it gets and you have other aoe dps already? Hes fine. No? better wait for aoe dps to come out or rerun.

Gotta disagree here. Im running HMC as his solo support (I have nothing else), with a useless lightcone and no Bronya. He's still pumping out 200k casually, and my build is subpar aswell. As of now, he is one of the BEST boss killers in the game. And outright the best IF you have Ruan Mei.

@@gageferrill110 They do not. And hes tricky not because of that. The fact he NEEDS ruan mei and mc and he CANT run on anything but makes him just succ. Because it means youre locked out of 50% of his potential if you dont run exactly ONE team. Other 5 stars just get BETTER with other 5 stars and NO team 'requires' 4 of them, youre a clown lmao When people like acheron can just say f it and run guinaifen and pela for example + any healer/shield that lets YOU stay alive. The only other dps that suffers massive dps lose without a 5 star is kafka without black swan. And thats it.
