These economist guys don't appear to be able to overcome their own conditioned thinking and see the wood for the trees. I guess they are covering their own butts to explain their actions to their employees and not get offside with them. The deficit and debt ceiling are a problem becasue it illustrates an unwillingness by government to properly budget and account for financial related actions. I am not living in the USA and am not a US citizen but it is so obvious that the debt ceiling alone is just an agreement which one party does not want to honour for whatever reason justifiable to themselves or not. The facts of history are there is no amount of increased taxation that will pay for poor or incompetent budgeting and accounting. And that is what budget shortfall is about. It is not possible to budget and account for actions and expenditure if you don't know how to or are unwilling to do it for some political reason. That is the problem and it is not going to change by giving government more money. The belief that it will is like believing a person who cannot drive a car will be beter of driving another car without chaging their behavior. OR a person who cannot cook will be able to cook with a bigger mixing bowl. All that sort of belief will do is cause more of a mixup. David is the only one who left this possibility party open for viewers to fill in the spaces to come to that possible conclusion. The others are just going around chasing their own tails like deluded canines but I guess they are not alone.
