I had a furby once and apparently the batteries died but nope. 3 am little guy comes to life and all I hear is 'ooh it's dark!' And it was by my bed. I literally got my stuff and slept on my top bunk after burying him under a mountain if teddies

The reason who your Furby malfunctioned was it was either Broken, or it had very low batteries. It's normal for the classic Furbies.

my old firbie did the SAME THING! it got stuck on some monotone word, but instead of staying the same, it slowly raised up in pitch, like it was gonna blow or something, i had to yank the batteries out and it scared me for life XD - hey what was that weird orange one on the right at the end? your holding out on us Chad!

i used to have a old original furby that my aunt got me, and i put it in my closet like normal when i went to bed and the next morning i got up and i went to check on my furby and it was gone we looked for it every were and no signs of it, it still gives me shivers to this day and it was like 2 years ago *shivers*

My original furby never liked to turn on. It would always sleep and never wake up when i shook it. Well one night when it was across the room it turned on and started talking! I ofcourse took that bish to the garage! Well about a month later i see it in my grandparents room staring at them. I asked if they knew how it got there and they had no idea. That still scares me to this day.

With the Phoebe one, the bit about having and not having crysral display eyes is obviously a checklist of which Phoebe you have. It's common on many Bootlegs, as well as kitchen appliances to simply have a section with a checkmark to see which colour you get, usually. So yours did NOT have the crysral display eyes. As the checkmark was for one of them bellow that section.

I really don't understand why they're making bootleg Furbies now, I could understand it back in the 90s but nowadays there are people who are buying Furbys for their children who grew up on Furbys and they know what they look like.

Michael Lewis There's always atleast some people who didn't have one, or don't know wether or not modern onee are the same, or just don't care and see it as a cheaper option. From all of the fakes, Phoebe and Furbish were pretty good imitations, so I see why someone would buy those.

Most of those stories can be explained with a quick Google search. And the bizarre stories are almost always fake. They’re just toys. Not possessed, not sentient, and definitely not demonic.

I think its pretty neat how OG Furby had physical animatronic eyes and New Furby has screens, cause thats like what Disney is doing with some of their new animatronics so that the faces on characters (like Mr Potato Head) can be animated

Something similar happened to me with my 2012 furby. He awoke with a yawn, but his eyes stayed black. He didn't react to anything I did to him. I just took out the batteries. Luckily for me, this happened during the day, so it wasn't nearly as creepy.

Usually, if the electronics is still alive, there are good chances to repair them. Look for the main motor and give it some lube, and mild agitation/movement, until it's moving easily. Look at the contact which synchronizes the movement of the steering spindle/axis. This is for the classic Furby, I don't have the modern version(s) or clones. Be careful when you remove the fur, especially at the ears. And it might be glued to the case (main body) in some places.

1:51 I'm assuming the reason they do that is because Furbies were expensive, so they strap them in super tight so nobody can just open the top and pull it right out and sneak off with it in a store where it's being sold, then closing up the box and leaving it behind where it was so it doesn't look like anything happened. To do it when the feet are strapped down hard, you'd have to yank the whole thing out of the box and free it yourself, making it significantly less discreet. Not sure why anyone would risk jail time on a Furby, though.
