Dude the PS4 controller i just got was also refurbished and it's identical except it doesnt have the tiny Sony logo, just like your charger. I wonder if they remove the logos or something when they refurbish them?

I think it’s some legal reason even though, it’s a knock off. There might be something so small that they changed from Sonys ps4 controller that it bypass copyright laws (in a very very gray area). I’m glad we can buy knock offs because the prices of controllers these days are insane

I think the hardware inside is original but the case is not, i doubt it's even possible to recreate same hardware on 1:1 scale

Yeah it has to be like 3-D printed. Idk how the got the case so shiny and the sticker looking so new otherwise. It would also make up for the apparent size difference. I have no idea though in the end!

Unsolicited update: I cleaned it with a medical grade sanitizer wipe, and the next day there was a sq cm chunk of the plastic eroded. Lol not sure what kind of plastic it is, but I dunno if the sani wipe would have been so destructive on legit Nintendo plastic

Sounds like you don't understand the meaning of "Bootleg". That's just a reconditioned original unit with a lower quality aftermarket shell.
