I don't think the Pocket Go is actually a bootleg console. Sure it has licensed games, but it's more likely that it's just for emulation purposes.

Yeh, there's plenty of systems like that but my personal favorite is the RG-350m. It has really high build quality (solid metal shell, good weight to it). I used an adapter and USB hub to hook up a keyboard and mouse to it so I could play System Shock (I'm serious lol). It has a mini-HDMI port too, and there is a carrying case you can get for it. The only downside is it doesn't have very good internal speakers, so keep that in mind if you want to check it out.

Yep The PowKitty and Pocket Go are just pocket emulators that happen to come with preloaded games since they're from a shady manufacturer. That's why they're higher quality than the rest

fun fact about the first console, the cartridge has absolutely nothing but a bypass chip, so you can just yank out the cartridge mid-game and it'll still work perfectly

The Woody Woodpecker game is an officially-licensed Master System game developed by Brazilian game developer and Sega distributor TecToy. The title translates to “Woody Woodpecker’s Frustrated Vacation.” TecToy *still* sells the Master System over here, and they used to do reskins with popular media in Brazil a lot. I believe the most famous examples are Wonder Boy reskins featuring Monica’s Gang characters.

3:16 this game is a kind of "licensed rom hack" published by Tec Toy in Brazil of a Sega Genesis game whose I don't remember now, Tec Toy decided to put the Woody Woodpecker in the game because it was a character known in Brazil, this explains the foreign language.

When Peter found a good emulator system, the pocket go, it gave me joy. He was so happy about it.

I actually bought pocket go because I knew that it was actually a good pocket console. The PS1 emulation is pretty rough but all of the other games run pretty smooth. Except for maybe quake 2 demo thats put on it, it runs in about 14 FPS but that's understandable.

Random curiosity that nobody asked for: The Woody Woodpecker game which apears in the video is actually a game made by a Brazilian company which distributed Sega's products over Brazil, the company called "TechToy" would help to popularize the MasterSystem and MegaDrive, as well they would help Sega's popularity to surpass Nintendo's in Brazil and also they would translate some of the games in Portuguese since most of the population back then did not really know how to speak english at all. Techtoy would also make some alteration to other Sega games besides just translating them to portuguese, such as the Wonder Boy in monster land series which would be adapted into popular Brazilian cartoon characters from "Monica's Gang" so the product would sell easier for having such beloved characters in the country. Hope you guys enjoyed knowing that!
