The pen isn't on low batteries. It seems you have found the pitch changer feature. Keep pulling until the pitch is fine. You will get a sample of sound pitch. It will say "Bop it". When the pitch is just fine, start playing and you will play Bop it in that pitch!

Really? That’s odd, because I definitely recall it had low batteries when I recorded that video. Perhaps low batteries trigger the pitch changer? 🤔
