You should go completely Leftfield on the engine bay and go electric Orange. The outside stays sleeper but under the bonnet is where wonderful things happen, so make it look fantastic

Black cam covers and file down the raised parts 👌, also 100% recommended replacing the crank and cam sensors while it's out.

I reckon keep it simple for now, just get it back on the road and enjoy it as is for the Summer. Then when Winter comes around again you can strip it down and make any changes needed depending how you got on over the Summer.
