Had a good friend and it’s a herding dog. COULD NOT GO ANYWHERE unless he was herding all 3 of us. If we went upstairs, there he was , all the way up and all the way down. I found it endearing! Just doing what they do! 🐾♥️🐾

i had an extremely smart lab mix that would circle the ottoman like this when something was supposed to happen. Time for late day snack? walkies?

Border collies have an innate need to herd things. If there is something moving in their general vicinity, they will herd it.

They usually nip when herding. Its a problem when your dog herds your kids into the bedroom for no reason and sits in the doorway

Actually, JackBNimble's mother Tess did circles around a dog across the street from our house. No reward was in site- or did I mention own-but she herded Carmine til she got her into a corner and drank some of her water. Only later shared some food with her. They were BFF, Carmine was a little older-6 months-older than BC Tess and a GSD-Lab mix. Both very sweet and smart.

@@Stratis42 haha that is so funny. What I thought I saw when I clicked on this video was a tiny bulldog chasing a child around the inside of a house. The only thing I can figure is that my brain got scrambled by the horrible smart meter that my evil utility installed on my property haha.
