Love the “Got Bait?”. Haha. I was actually trying to get some insight on this river because I’ve been there once when I worked as a YCC fort the Sumter back in 17’. Unfortunately no fishing or white water rafting, but did get to “get my feet wet”, pun intended, as I ate lunch along the bank of a picnic/campsite along Long Creek Highway. It’s an absolute blast for anyone looking for a great family and friends kinda thing outdoors.

Excellent video! Can't wait to go in November! I plan on using 6lb test line w/ 4 lb leader on a light weight spinning rod. Any suggestions?

hal speed that’s Burrell ford road and you need to drive up highway 107 to get there....

Please read SCDNR web site. Most areas only allow artificial lures with a single hook. (Specifically parts of the Chatooga river) This includes anything that replicates live bait including fake salmon eggs, corn, and cheese, and single hook is defined as one sharp point.

Zach Hutson A GA or SC fishing license is good for either side of the Chattooga River.
