I can see claptrap played by Jack Black but Kevin Hart playing Roland?! No way, do you picture Kevin playing the scene of what happens to Roland in Borderlands 2? (Trying not to spoil here, Roland is my favorite character so I'm bias) Also Lilith looks cool played by Cate and she is a cool character

It 100% feels like a GOTG Clone. Not saying that's a bad thing, could be fun depending on if the characters/story are memorable.

Gotta admit. I am shocked. I’m a big fan of the games and this….actually looks amazing. It feels like Borderlands. It looks like Borderlands. So far everything I’m seeing is fantastic

I really love ELO, but 'Ain't No Rest For the Wicked' would've fit so much better in the trailer. I sincerelly hope they don't cut it from the movie.

Guardians for sure and some Mad Max came to mind. I never played the games, but the trailer got me interested.

Looks like Tank Girl, but also has a Guardians of the Galaxy feel, but I think that is due to the rock music score. Nothing new to see here by the looks of things.

I love the borderlands franchise and this looks to be a fun time but Kevin Hart as Roland aint it.

As someone who played and likes the games the casting is horrendous and the comedy seems so far away from how good it needs to be. Also they are doing what they did with the Uncharted movie and doing whatever the fck they want with the characters and storyline without any car for thr source material.

I mean it looks like borderlands I will give it credit and I am just hoping the final product is good but we shall see.

I didn't like that at all .. bad casting, poor music choice... If Claptrap wasn't shown and they didn't say "Vault" there's no chance in hell I'd guess that was a borderlands movie. It looked like Nickelodeons version of Mad Max. Like when they do those Kids Bop CDs... Child friendly versions of adult music.

Could work it looks fun Cate is maybe a little to old for Lilith but she seem to be making work plus I don't think she could turn in a bad performance if she tried just hope we haven't just seen the best bits but I'm sort of excited for this

I'll give credit where credit is due,JLC was spot-on casting and cate would perfect if this movie came out in 2012.If i had done a borderlands movie earlier in time i'd have Benjamin bratt as mordo,shaq as brick,MBJ as roland and kevin bacon as Handsome jack.

This reminds me of something ive never played but looks fun yet the true gamers hate on it.. so.. i follow the gamers.

The chosen characters dont make sense .. Krieg with no Maya, Lilith and Roland with no Mordi and Brick... Tannis and Lilith are being played by actresses that are 20+ years too old for the roles... Roland, a (tall) stoic and admirable man, being played by a vertically challenged comedian who only plays himself... This movie is shaping up to be just another soulless, forgettable disappointment.. seems like thats 75% of movies these days... i miss when the theaters were expecting/showing movies i was excited to see.. *Sigh*

It could be good or it could be complete shit. There's definitely talented actors involved and hope it's Rated R. The only good part of the Uncharted movie was seeing Nolan North at the end cause he's the real Nathan Drake.
