Ha ha, is that mine your talking about. Planning to do more myself but intil now wasn't sure cause of covid would be viewed as appropriate. Yes got 4k quality camera just before covid so haven't tested it on any bus routes.

A real-time video of one of the longest routes operated by borders buses... nicely labelled for those not au fait with the area too. I've recently started producing timelapse videos of the various routes I drive.

Yet another video trip of nostalgia. From September 1973 for about a year, my first job was at Peebles Hydro Hotel, mentioned on this trip by the Hydro Road end stop. Trips into Galashiels or Edinburgh were regular occurrences, and little has changed as far as I could tell, with the exception of the approaches into and around Edinburgh as seen today. Lots of memories revisited on this video. Now if you could only replicate the Edinburgh to London overnight coach, using Bristol REMH coaches with the Alexander M-Type bodies which I used regularly after leaving Peebles late in 1974, I 'd be very happy, but sadly they are all in the past, even a route that doesn't exist any more. Thank you so much for this video journey.

I plan to do this journey just for the hell of it, what the hell, why not use it ot lose it as they say. I live in Edinburgh and been on the borders train which was a beautiful journey but I saw mostly fields didn't go past the little villages you'd get to see on the bus. I think it might be a bit soon today to do the journey right now I might wait till it's a wee bit warmer and safer due to covid restrictions but I am looking forward to doing this journey I think I need a change of scenery for a couple of hours. Thank you for posting this trip it did me the world of good. One request can you do the whole of the X62 bus journey from Edinburgh to Berwick Upon Tweed that would be an amazing trip. I had a look to see how much a return bus fare from Edinburgh to Melrose would be which isn't too bad to be honest better than the train £14.90 return that's all the way to Melrose and back in a single trip the borders train terminates at Tweedbank about a mile or so from Melrose so you'd have to take the bus so you'd have to pay a return bus fare from Tweedbank to Melrose so I think the bus might be a little cheaper.

Could you do this (X62) in the summertime, when it's not raining, because the Borders area is so pretty? Maybe even from Melrose to Edinburgh.
