My wife & I spent our weekend at Borealis Basecamp for my birthday. We went snow machining, dog sledding, fat tire biking & watched the Aurora lights from our private igloo. Here is a video of our trip, enjoy!

Enjoy it! Some advice: buy water at the grocery store before heading there (either water bottles or gallon water) & buy snacks, alcohol (wine or liquor) too. They don't really have a store for snacks there, just a restaurant. It's an awesome experience though nonetheless you'll love it!

great video! how is it? I think for the perfect alaskan experience I want to do everything on this list from viewing the northern lights, dog sledding, and snowmobiling! how long was the tour for the dog sledding and snowmobile if I may ask?

Thanks! It was a great experience! The dog sledding tour was a little over an hour, super fun, and the tour guide will let you meet and greet each dog. The snowmobiling has two different tours, an hour-long one and a 6-hour tour which takes you to a cabin for some lunch before heading back to camp.

what website did you book from ? also do they provide shuttle pick up and drop off ?

I booked directly from their borealis base camp website, and yes they picked us up at the airport and drove us back after! I don’t recommend getting a rental and driving, it’s too snowy for me. Good luck!

Saw in the comments you said to buy water, snacks and alcohol at the store before going to the base camp. Is there a store near the airport to buy things? Heading there for m years honeymoon in February

Yes! Our driver graciously stopped by the grocery store near the airport before driving us there, I imagine they’ll do the same for you.

Yep used a GoPro, had it on Timelapse mode!

they have different packages, the borealis basecamp website will have the best updated info so I would check that out. We did the 4 day 3 night package which was about 1400 USD. Pricey but i thought it was worth it!
