So the difference between boredom and idleness seems to be unsatisfaction, or even jealousy, spite? The urge to not be idle, not be satisfied with "the moment". Hm. Very interesting topics brought up here.

"The urge to not be idle" is a good way of putting it, I think. It's a subtle difference between boredom and idleness, but perhaps the main point is that boredom is innate to being human, so we must accept and face that reality for starters.
