I share your sentiments brother. I was a victim too but from a good friend way back in 1993. Lost three vehicles that I shipped to him when I was in Germany then. He died wretched and a few of us here in the United States has to contribute money for his burial in Ghana. Take heart.

There are many high paying jobs in London and that attracts lots of high earning professionals. Unfortunately most Ghanaians refuse to upgrade themselves and instead of moving to other parts of the UK they simply remain in London and complain about bills. London is good for either a high earners or the average income earner renting a council flat. I live in London and I love ma city but u have to be a professional or an average earner living in council flat to truly appreciate the city.

I’m currently building my own apartments and guest house. I do everything so fast with top speed anytime I go home. I never hand over to someone due to trust issues. I have brothers who can help but I give them less activities. I’m 90% complete now. My guy. It’s better you do everything yourself these days.

My honest opinion, if you want something done well you must do it yourself. Spend time and money and supervise your project yourself (even if you have to spend entire time on your project). You will save more money and get the job well done. You simply can't trust anyone, even your own family.😢😢😢😢

Listening to some of these stories here is quite heart wrenching, if your biological brother could be this insensitive and perfidious, then as you alluded earlier, gather your money, go to site yourself anytime you are in Ghana and get the building going yourself. Nowadays there are companies you can work with. Like we work with some people they are very professional. We do zoom meetings they have excel sheet show pictures what is done, pictures of the phases very professional. They are Ghanaians studied at tech and they also studied and lived abroad and whent back to ghana. So they know both ways. (We are based in Europe though)
