Context of the song: It's a festival in which they pray to Shri Krishna. They sing to him. So the song is devoted to Shri Krishna who is addressed in the song as Kanha, mukunda, anirudhdha, Mohana. Devasena n her sister in law are celebrating the festival with devotion to Shri Krishna. While doing so Devasena is reminded of the events of that day in which she unleashes a mad bull on to Amrendra Bahubali to test him. She repents her actions. At the same time she feels for the injuries caused to Bahubali senior. Earlier in the day due to his injuries n pain his companion kattapa has requested someone but especially her to sing lullaby to lessen bahubali's pain. But since she is a princess n Bahubali is acting to be a naive simpleton who knows nothing n is acting dumb she walks away from singing lullaby. But in her heart she wants to ease his pain. So she sings a lullaby to Shri Krishna in her palace which Bahubali can hear. Indirectly caring for him. Thus when she offers flowers to Krishna, Bahubali gets a shower of flowers under the tree. When she offers warmth of the lamps (Diya) to Shri krihna, Bahubali receives the warmth from a near by torch. Director is showing her growing devotion, care, compassion of Devasena indirectly being transmitted from Shri Krishna to Bahubali. This is not Love for Devsena but a start of feelings - car n compassion for Bahubali. She falls in love with him later on when she sees his bravery, courage and righteousness. Bahubali on the other hand rejoices with kattapa seeing that Devsena is thinking about him n caring for him as he has already fallen in love with her. Please understand these are not costumes. They are what Indians wore and in some parts of the country they still wear it. We wear themon festivals, ethnic traditional wear. Most of our moms wear sarees, most of the girls do wear the lehengas n chunnis. Jewelry was a part of the traditional attire, and a symbol of prosperity and royality. Most women wear such jewelry at weddings and festivals. This is our culture from the past to the present. They are NOT costumes.
