honestly why get married now especially if you're a man when you know that you risk having to pay spousal support for some woman that you don't care about anymore. the us judicial system is so skewed towards women when it comes to child custody and spousal support. not worth it

If youre preparing to eventually "not care anymore" you definitely shouldn't get married! People have too many distractions these days but because they didnt start with good foundations. :(

@@aquietcenter4189 It's not about "preparing to eventually not care anymore" it's the reality men face in family court. A woman can leave for any reason and take HALF, even if a man built a business BEFORE he met her. Women get the kids more often than not. Men pay child support, spousal support/alimony more often than women. Women have been known to keep the kids from dad. Let's not act like the courts don't favor women because there is ample evidence that they do. Who would sign up for giving away half or more of what you have because one day someone else made a decision to leave??? And women do, do that. And no one....NO ONE can foresee someone changing....and people DO change over time.

Wow, the woman is delusional, they still don't get it and the mangina on the show isn't helping - women have to decided to get married later because they want to 'do their thing' - but there's also the fact that men are looking at the advantages(?)/disadvantages of marriage & especially how the courts deal with divorce and they're saying 'NOPE...'

What's got you preparing for divorce?
@LukeReed6279 жыл бұрын
Women - they initiate about two out of every three divorces.
@tidefanyankee24284 жыл бұрын
@@LukeReed627 Yep about 70% of divorces are initiated by women, not men and then those women get half or more.....even IF the man had something BEFORE he met her. She can reap the benefits of the lifestyle he can provide AND take half or more if she decides to leave. You are correct, this guy is a PC beta "mangina". Let's see how he feels if he gets married , his prenup gets tossed and he's paying her for years.....and rarely gets to see his kids if they have some. Yeah man, talk then......

Ppl just don't value marriage anymore. It's not like how it was back in the day.

Happily married for 12 years! Marriage is not for everyone but I still advocate for it! 2 parent household shows itself and the benefits over and over again. You could see it with your eyes closed! Our children thrive and are well rounded because of their complete upbringing, parents, grandparents & extended family. A single parent can raise an amazing adult as well but the result will be noticeably different, like it or not.

Personally I think getting divorced is just too easy. If I can pay $399 to get out of a relationship that I'm not happy in, that's far less work than staying & working it out!

Tristyy Holness-Sinclair I agree. I think the issue is that it is just too easy to give up. We, as a culture, aren't learning to fight through tough times.

Marriage is a beautiful thing that takes a lot of work to keep it going, I feel people just don't want to fight for love anymore and see divorce as an easy out. Think about the process before you were married and all the stuff you went through to get to the alter that alone shows strength. If there was any doubt before hand you would have never accepted the marriage and I know people change but know the person your with before committing your life to them. Once you do though fight for love because in my opinion divorce is never good.

Well....isn't he just the PC paragon...... So in the spirit of "equality" then men can choose what ever they like too......right? And I'm sure he endeared himself to lots of women with his words. I hope he gets married and she leaves and take him for half....then let's see what he has to say..... Yeah, I bet his tune changes then.
