This is quickly becoming one of the sets I’ve listened to most frequently- and that’s saying a lot. I must have listened at least 60 times since November. And Boris Brejcha is the only new DJ that I like. I’m old skool and did not think that I’d ever like any newer DJs. I can’t get enough!

1. How have I never heard of these producers? 2. AMT mixes are amazing! KZfaq auto played this after Tiesto or John 00 Fleming (as well as other AMT mixes) and I’ve been HOOKED on this since. I can’t even sit still in public while listening to this. It will be no time before you find videos of “the weird local dancing woman” as random people upload to KZfaq. 😆

Back again. I just realized that this (and some other Brejcha sets) sound exactly like Tiësto is the mid to late 90s. Interestingly, Tiësto’s used to call himself “Da Joker”. Hmm 🤔 I definitely think this is more of a hard trance genre than “techno” (as titled here), and definitely not “minimal” as Brejcha describes himself. In fact, a number of these tracks are old trance beats. Hard trance. 😜
