I may be completely off the mark but growing up "on the farm" the LR horn was spot on for not frightening livestock in fact they learned to repsond to it ........but that's not what you want it for

That quite an early 200tdi that garage has, mines on a H plate also and that one was registered before mine! My old girl came from down south Devon, I tracked the farmer down who owned it and he told me he was taking some cattle to Tavistock market I think he said and rolled it on its side, the insurance company wrote it off and 20 years later I’m still driving it, it’s got well over 300,000 miles now and has served me well in that time with only one time being left in the side of the road, my clutch went! Just installed one of those but water got in - I suggest connecting a hose to the air intake on the horn to prevent any water ingress
