With the language !! My friend who stayed n Nigeria for 25 years and gave birth all his children told me his children learnt the Hausa because he is Hausa from Ghana but was not easy for him to introduce his own language aside Hausa because he has to hide his identity to mingle well ... The problem was the acceptance rate of the communities knowing you are from Ghana was very low !

I have seen one thing about a lot of Nigerians, most of them don’t speaks their local dialect I have also have a lot of Nigerians friends here in New York and they don’t speak their dialect Can someone explain this to me pls? Most of the Nigerians I have met here cant speak their dialect and when I ask them, they have no tangible reason

They get annoyed and complain we speak twi in Ghana but we are in our country what do you expect? When you go to Germany and France do you tell them not to speak German and French respectively? Hi you can't blame your you're parents it's not their fault. Please it's good to know that children learn from what they hear and see in his/ her.environment.. Your parents use English as a common language for very obvious reasons so this put the child in a very challenging situation. The only advantage of a child like them is that if the child happens to stay in either the mother or the father's area the child doesn't have any problem with learning the language at least from school .But if the leave in an area were an entirely different language is spoken then the child may have to speak that language just like your two guests who I believe leaved most of their life in Yoruba land. .

It doesn't work that way, Mister. You must take care if your children first, irrespective of anything. You cannot neglect your child for decades and come back to claim your child. Children do not just grow up via breathing oxygen. They eat, drink, and wear clothes, need education, and also need mental and emotional support to grow up and become responsible Adults.
