at 1st I thought that their parents didn't let them help stop Vargos because they weren't experienced saiyans. but the more I thought about, the more doubtful I was. these guys were experienced. Toma grew up under constant training from his brother Taro. but I guess they never did battle or weren't really released into the field. because if you think about it, they're just kids. maybe the parents thought they weren't ready for the battlefield.
