Two observations of her shooting. First Observation; Most "jump shots" are done in two parts: 1. The shooter jumps, and 2. When at their height, and only then does the arm start forward to shoot. Ms. Johannes' jump shot is one movement; she is already in the process of shooting with the arm going forward as soon as she starts to jump. Second Observation: She has much more rotation on the ball than most players. I can't find the sho-mo videos that show what a beautiful release that is. If you find it, look for that beautiful movement of her wrist; both when shooting and its position after releasing the ball. I't like a good skeet or trap shooter following through. Her wrist is in the same stationary position after every shot. And similar to great pool, billiard and snooker player who keep from moving after the shot until the cue ball makes contact.
